What has happened to Speedo?

I've been a swimmer for, groan, 50 years off and on, and have always bought Speedo products. They've been the gold standard forever. I'm really disappointed to see whats happened to the brand. My Speedo fins recently ripped after less than a year of use (both of them), they discontinued my favorite goggles, and the suits have gone second rate. I had a race the other day. Got my Speedo (not the one for this review) on and it ripped. Pulled out an old backup-- first, I realized that I'd had it for several years and it was still in really good shape-- unlike the ones I've been buying lately, and that it had a drawstring that was actually long enough-again, unlike today. When i decided to write this, I looked back at when i bought this particular suit and was pretty shocked that it was only 4 months ago! My Powerflex echo is badly faded and has lost its shape-- its a rag basically. If this were the first Speedo I'd bought in the last few years, I'd write it off as a one-off problem. But its pretty much the norm now. And, yeah, what's up with the short drawstrings? What's that saving you, Speedo, a tenth of a penny per suit? Just ordered an Arena suit- literally first time I've ever bought a non-Speedo.

Longer than other jammers

Bought these for my son. He's 5'7" or 5'8"...the legs on these are much longer than other brands. He didn't like it. His brother is 6'1" and not on a swim team. He thought they were OK to swim just to work out. If you're looking for long-leg jammers, these are for you; if not, you should know. They are as pictured -- stops right at the model's knees.

Great quality for the price.

The product fits as expected. My sons tend to lose their suits at least once per season. I’m not sure how that happens, but this is a reasonably priced suit to have on hand for a back up.

Excelente!!

Me quedó muy bien, compré una talla más amplia de la que soy de pantalón para que no me apretara. Por la pandemia solo he podido usarlo dos veces y hasta ahora excelente. Actualizaré si se daña o rompe. Noviembre 2020.

Was will man mehr? Sitzt gut, ist bequem zu tragen und der Stoff ist sehr hochwertig. Nichts zu beanstanden.

Demasiado PEQUEÑO, no es traje de baño para HOMBRE.

De acuerdo con la guía de talla de la marca SPEEDO, pedí la talla 22 (Talla XXXXS/22, Pecho:79 cm, Cadera:74 cm, CIntura:63.5cm) para hombre, sin embargo el traje de baño que me enviaron fue demasiado PEQUEÑO y era para un BEBÉ. En la caja se menciona "Traje de Baño para CABALLERO".

Sencillo y no es para entrenamiento

El traje es sencillo, su calidad no es buena pero tampoco es deficiente. Recomiendo que pidan una o dos tallas más grande. Me parece que no es un traje de entrenamiento, pues se nota muy sencillo.
