Verbal hourly announcement

This does what I wanted it to do. VERBAL HOURLY ANNOUNCEMENT. I looked at at least 100 clocks. This was affordable and did what it says. It is somewhat bright but not in a room with other light sources. It is not very loud. If no other noise then it can be heard throughout the house. I purchased this for VERY low vision legally blind person. The voice is that of a robotic young woman. It is always 76 degrees. But, once again, VERBAL HOURLY ANNOUNCEMENT. So the temp is irrelevant. There are clocks that make alarms hourly but not verbally. Large print clocks, med notification clocks, program with your voice clocks....I could go on and on. If this was a little louder I would buy one monthly. If it was easier to set and bigger 5 stars all day.

Great clock

I ordered this clock because the previous talking clock I had stopped working. I like the idea that it gives me the hourly time but I don’t like the fact that he gives me an hourly temperature checked as well. It also have a chime before every hour and illuminate the room. Overall it is a good product.

Perfect for our population!

I work with the special needs population. I bought two, one for the adults (we have one young lady that is sightless. I'm hoping she will be less stressed when she gets use to the time and knows when it is time to change activities or go home) and one for our school. This is the perfect tool for us. I used one at home over the holidays as there were reviews stating it wasn't very loud. I got used to the noise every hour, may order one for me to keep me on track. I don't always hear the time, but it lets me know if I'm dragging or running on time. At school it is a good reminder to move onto the next subject.

Don't waste your money

I bought this for my blind sister because it would announce the time hourly. It stopped working after about 6 weeks. It's difficult to set the time, and it randomly plays a song and resets itself to 12:00 and 50 degrees. Just junk...

This clock is great for those who are elderly and having problems seeing or hearing

This clock is great and yes the volume may not be the loudest but it still works great if the person is a few feet away you can still hear the time being announced. Only con is the sensors on the clock if you drop it or touch it a lot it will go off more which can be annoying but still workable. So I recommend this clock for anyone who has a loved one or family member who is having issues seeing. The instruction manual was easy to understand and not complicated. So check it out.

Very hard to hear.

Product was for my elderly mother with hearing and vision problems. Save your money. Poor volume control and poor digital quality.

Easy to read

The voice is very tinny sounding and not easily heard with hearing aid. Also dialogue is too fast. Could be heavier so it can not be easily knock off the dresser when blind person is feeling around

She LOVES it!!

The media could not be loaded. My MIL recently lost her sight and this clock has been a game changer!! She was embarrassed to constantly ask “what time is it?” and now she never has to ask again…she is thrilled!!
