Most durable work boots I've tried

I bought these boots with the expectation that I would need to buy another pair in about 6 months, since that has been the fate of all of my previous work boots. 2 years later I'm still wearing them and they have minimal wear and tear, mostly just near the back of the heal on the inside and some nicks/scuffs on the steel toe. I'm a landscaper and gardener so I walk a ton and work with a lot of heavy tools and rocks and such, and these boots have kept my feet safe and comfy through all types of weather and terrain. The steel toe is solid and has saved my feet from falling heavy objects many times. My feet are very narrow but the wide/relaxed fit of these boots isn't a problem for me once I've laced them up. The ankle of the boot is super cushioned and supportive so the boots stay snugly on my feet. My only complaint is the boots have almost no arch support and the top of the boot hits right above my ankle which was uncomfortable when I first got them. To solve both problems I use arch support inserts that also give me a little bit of a lift and they fit perfectly with those.

Great work boots

I bought these work boots by sketchers on a whim back in 2016 at a shoe store and loved them. Our puppy at the time chewed the edges and the shoelaces off, but I managed to still get use out of them. Fast forward 7 years later, it was time to throw them away and find another pair. I hoped I could find the same style, and thanks to Amazon I found them! The only difference that I can see is my original pair had a slightly narrower, curved toe shape and this new pair has a slightly wider toe area which honestly is better. My original pair was camel color and this pair is brown which I don’t mind. Everything else about them looks and feels exactly the same. One thing I absolutely love about these boots is the memory foam sole. It is so comfortable to wear and I’m so glad that sketchers didn’t change that aspect about them. Overall they are durable and long lasting. I’m normally a size 8.5 and they fit perfectly. Will definitely buy again and hope sketchers never discontinues this style!

A Good Women's Work Boot

There was a time (late 1990's to early 2000's) that Sketcher's made the BEST women's work boot in the industry. These are not those, but they are better than anything else out there currently. These boots are heavy duty but light enough to wear for long periods. They have a steel toe. I prefer a composite toe, but at least your toe is protected. Some people may feel these are a little wide in the toe bed, but if you have never owned a steel toe or composite toe boot, you don't want your toes rubbing against the hard toe enclosure. In a regular shoe there would be some "give" but in a steel toe there is not--so you need a little extra room. Size: I had to go a half size up. I'm a 7. I went to a 7.5. I have a very wide foot, but the regular (M) width was perfect. Comfort: There is NO arch support. All work boots should come with an arch support but for some reason, they no longer do. In a work boot your foot needs to be supported both at the arch and the ankle. I still have the arch supports that came with my late 1990's Sketchers work boots, so I will use those. The foot bed of these boots is Memory Foam. It feels ok. The only thing I worry about is the gel in the memory foam can sometimes get cold if it is really cold outside --then your feet will feel cold. The Ankle is a little high on these. The front part of the ankle could have been more padded. They might need a little breaking in. This boot will rub on the front of your ankles. I guess thicker socks will help? The Shoelace: will probably will not last too long. The old Sketchers came with 2 sets of REALLY GOOD work boot laces in two different colors. I may still have a pair stashed in the back of a drawer somewhere that I can switch with these. Waterproof: I have not yet had the chance to see how they hold up in wet conditions. I may just water- proof them myself to be safe. I guess they just don't make things like they used too. But compared to any other women's work boots out there these are tops.

Women’s Sketchers Leather Work Boots

I bought these to work in the yard. After ruining many pairs of tennis shoes. The sole doesn’t collect dirt, sand or mud. They don’t slip either, good grip on any surface. They do have a steel toe for protection, in case something falls on your toe, think pavers, tree branches… I keep the top, two holes unlaced, much more comfortable this way! (Double tie the laces, so they don’t drag). Really pleased and they look they will last a long time.

SECOND TIME BUYING THESE BOOTS!!

THIS IS MY SECOND TIME BUYING THESE BOOTS FOR WORK AND I WILL CONTINUE TO BUY THEM! These boots are amazing and the comfort level is unmatched from any other work boots I've had especially steel toe. Took nothing to break them in and my feet have NEVER HURT one day in these. They have memory foam which is amazing and really helps when your on your feet for 9-11 hours a day. The only bad thing is the laces, they wear out quickly but that's a $5-6 fix with a new pair of laces. If your debating buying these, please buy them and give them a try. You won't regret it.

Held up in daily wear on-site

Wore these 5 days/week on construction site for about a year. Continue to wear them at least once a week now. Held up well, all-day comfortable, not too heavy. Could use a little more cushion inside, but overall a good buy.

2-Years Later

I've worn these boot for almost two years exactly. I have found them very comfortable to work in and am happy with them. My only complaint is the complaint I have with every work boot I've had which is that the interior of the shoe started to come apart after about a year but these have held up better than some other pairs of boots I've had. The heel has a hole in it now and so I'll be ordering a new pair. I'm a rancher, so they've been through it all..constant long work days, mud, water, rocky terrain, etc. Overall, I've been pleased with them.

Comfortable, not CSA approved.

I really like them, very comfortable, good fit and I like the look of them. However, I should have read into them more, not CSA Approved, so I can’t actually wear them for work. So that disappointing but my own fault for not reading more.

All day comfort

The best lightweight and comfortable women's work boots. Perfect height and well padded insoles. Feet are well protected in these boots. Keeps feet dry in all weather. I have tried several women's work boots. These are by far the most feminine looking, and the fit is perfect.
