Sturdy

I’ve had a few nice watches but this one is my favorite. I always seem to bang up my watch by just swinging my wrist carlessly into the doorframe or by getting water splashed all over it washing my hands but this one has remained intact. I’ve banged it on the metal door handle more times than I can count and it has not even a small scratch to show for it. I’ll put a picture of my last watch too just for comparison. (My last watch is the silver chain link)

Love Skagen!

I have a number of Skagen watches and love how slender and sleek they are. I have always gone for the leather strap, however decided to try a mesh band and love it. It was easy to size and attach the band. My only issue is with the black face and numbers, it is difficult to see. I wear for dress occasions so it is more about the rather than being able to tell time. Skagen gets my vote for price point and for a wide variety of options.

Love the simplicity of this name brand.

This, unlike most of my watches is a minimalist timepiece. A great entry level to this name brand, at a great price. Skagen is a watch I’ve always wanted.

Too big and heavy

I hate it wish I'd never bought it now it's massive the face is way too big thick and heavy not at all what I expected I have a previous skagen watch very slimline and light this is the exact opposite Def wasted my money here

Presume the battery was dead but not prepared to replace just in case the watch itself was defective. Very disappointing!

Watch fine, Amazon stumbles

The watch is lovely, looks even better than pic. Second hand ticks exactly on demarcations. Too early to talk about accuracy of timekeeping. Problem is Amazon. Look, I've been treated very well by Amazon, esp. considering the number of items we have ordered from them. Small number of items returned (relatively conveniently). Very small number of items that were underwhelming but we kept anyway. This watch had obviously been shipped out before and returned. Lack of security seal on box was first hint. Then watch was not centred on its pillow. Protective film was way off centre of front glass. Hands were moving and watch was set to exactly the right time. Heavens, if you are going to return something, you'd think to put it back as you found it. But worse, does not Amazon check returns before reselling? Is reselling returned items at regular price and no warning even ethical? I will keep the watch as it seems to be in pristine shape and I don't want the hassle of returning this and buying another. But it does take the thrill off the purchase of a new thing.

A+ for sexiness. C- for functionality.

This is a very good looking watch. It's got clean lines and a low profile. The mesh wristband is solidly made and easy to adjust. You wear this watch so that you can look sexy. You don't wear this watch if you want to know what time it is. It is incredibly difficult to see the hands. They are almost the same color as the face. Even in broad daylight, you basically have to put the watch right up to your eyes to see the time. Forget about trying to see anything in dim light. Who was the genius at Skagen that thought it was a good idea to design the hands and the face to be the exact same color? The positive is that if the watch or the battery dies, it won't matter since the only reason you are wearing the watch is for its style and coolness factor.
