A bit too thin

These were bought to pack in hygiene kits to send to people in crisis, so I couldn't wash them up ahead of time. I'm hoping they "fluff up" a bit after washing, as they seem pretty flat and not as soft as I'd hoped. The colors are nice, and I like that they're cotton, but am a bit concerned about their durability. They'll serve the short-term purpose at least.

I'm surprised!

These are actually a good deal. they are exactly what I wanted. That being said, they are not 12 X 12. They may have started out that size before they hemmed the edges in the factory. They are not square. I do think they are still a great deal and worth every penny. My son thought I had made another mistake (like when we ordered pasta and received a case of pasta, not just a box). But this was very intentional. I wash the floor of the truck and the liner leaves all wash cloths nasty looking, even after several washes and oxi-clean, but these, at 50 cents each I won't feel bad about having to throw them out after a couple of cleanings.

We wanted functional, quality - not luxury ..

.. and that’s just what we got. To us, it’s a luxury to have all the washcloths we could want on the shelf; less of a need to frequently launder to keep clean ones on hand. And we’re well satisfied with the quality.
