Protect those pearly whites
As a parent, safety is always a top priority when it comes to my child's activities. No complaints.
I tried the 12 second method for my 9yr old and found that it was not enough time. I did more like 20 seconds and waited 5 secs to then fitted it his mouth. It was softer for a moldeable and accurate fit. He kept it in his mouth for 30 secs or so pushing at his gum line and sucking in to get all the air out. Then cold rinse. Farther more, it’s definitely a smaller profile that the previous brand brand we purchased!

Not great for first time mouth guard users
My son is 6 and was in need of a mouth guard for lacrosse. The angle in which you have to put this in and how it kind of hugs the back teeth made it too advanced for him, and trying to mold it really was difficult and once I got him to do it I think he crushed the back a bit making it even harder to get in. It was a complete fail for us. Later at Academy Sports Store in person, we found lots of options and landed on one that was specifically for first time users, it didn't go as far back, no molding necessary, and easy to use. So just sharing for other young or first time users like us.

A little big
Not going to lie I used this in one of my fights. I have sensitive teeth and gums. This tool really helped me bleed way less !! It also helped me avoid pain during the fight

Fits my 7 year old
My 7 year old leveled up belts in karate and they're allowed to hit each other in the head now, which means that a mouth guard is necessary. We bought this one and tried using water straight out of a Zojirushi water boiler to try to form it, but it wasn't hot enough. After boiling it in a pan for the prescribed 12 seconds, it was a lot more malleable and he was able to make some teeth impressions with his little teeth. Time will tell how it holds up but it seems like it'll do the job.

easy to shape, a little big for me
the shaping process was super quick and easy. The directions were straight forward and I had no trouble making it a snug fit. It serves it's purpose really well, and I think for the money it's a good purchase. The only thing I dislike is it's size. I'm not sure if it's just my mouth or the actual products fault, but it feels like it's on the larger size and takes a lot of getting used to. Beyond that though, it's a good purchase and I'd highly recommend.

Good Headpiece
Used this for sparring in boxing, it was a bit bigger than I thought, however it still offered protection and did it's job. The comfort level was ehh mid, but still, it did it's job.
