Worked great!

I used these to temporary block the hot and cold before a shower renovation. They worked great and would certainly use again when needed.

NOT 1/2" in diameter.

Although the website and the supposed "Sharkbite" package stated 1/2" diameter, it was actually 1" in diameter. Useless for my purposes. Requested free replacement. Same outcome. Ordered item from Home Depot and got the correct 1/2" size that came with inner plastic piece that the Amazon ones I received did not have. Curiously, the Home Depot version came in "Sharkbite" packaging that was completely different from this one on Amazon.

So easy to use!

These little doodads are great! During the Texas freeze a water pipe burst. Since it was in a part of the house not being used, I decided to just cap it off myself. Locating the leak was way harder than using the shark bite.

Make sure you want IPS

This is for old IPS pipes. Not copper or PEX as stated in the description.

This is not a half inch pvc Sharkbite cap.

Had to make an emergency trip to get an actual 1/2inch end point for pvc pipes. This thing is way too big. It may say it on the bag but it is absolutely not 1/2 inch.

Wrong size!

Package says 3/4" but it is 1". That makes the part useless for me. Other than, I think Sharkbite products are pretty awesome. I just wish Sharkbite had put the right part in the right package. It was factory sealed, so this error is on Sharkbite, not the reseller.

Frustrating

can someone tell me how this is supposed to be 1/2 inch in diameter? look closely...its even stamped as such. Extremely dissapointed
