Attractive from a distance, magnets, silver lining, small black stain, to narrow for patio doors

I got these in Ivory. They had a small black stain on one edge which I do not know how to remove but it is not really visible the way my furniture is arranged. The curtains look nice from a distance but up close they do not look well made. There are magnets on one side of each curtain so be sure to hand them right so the magnets touch. The magnets are not stong but they work. I like the lgth silver lining instead of the black lining of some blackout curtains. The picture seems to show these covering double wide patio doors but unless your doors are very narrow, these are not wide enough for that use. They are the width stated so it is my problem that I did not measure first.

Beautiful and excellent room darkening

This Beautyrest brand blackout window curtain is beautiful. There is a subtle pattern that makes the room look elegant. It is very, very easy to install. The room darkening quality is excellent. If you use this with the proper rod so that the curtain hangs agains the wall, it is even better. And not only will you get darker room, but this is heavy enough to help block cold or heat, and it dampen outside noise a little as well. I live in an area where the summer sun is out from very early in the morning until late at night, so this kind of curtain in important for quality sleep - and this one is excellent.

Luxurious look.

I though Beautyrest just made mattresses & Pillows? These curtains are pretty hefty. I like the neutral tan color. They are blackout as advertised but naturally you'll always have some level of light peeking out the top during the day. These do makeup for having Vinyl Blinds. You cant see a thing from outside. Unfortunately the vents in my house sit directly under most of my windows. so in terms of heating and cooling i cant speak to their efficiency. The blackout material of these is nice. There are some lower end curtains that almost have a PVC like or plastic lining...these actually have a fabric backing which makes these not look cheap. I like the pattern these came in but it is noticeable that the stitching can get nicked. It happens. These put the curtains on the other window to shame. So ill be ordering another set.

Not worth it

I was so eager to receive these curtains. The fact that the came in a set of two was a huge bonus. I loved the idea of the magnetic closure as well. Upon opening the curtains I was immediately disappointed because there was a large stain about the length of a quarter on one of the panels. It appears that the black mark came from the black hanger that the curtains are hung on. There is absolutely no trying to remove the stain because of how delicate the curtains are. In my second picture you can see that the stitching is so delicate that it was even pulled up upon receiving. I cannot imagine that wear these curtains will take with daily use. I'd hoped for so much better but unfortunately I am highly disappointed in the quality of these curtains.

Fantastic set!

Okay, so I got these blackout curtains to help insulate my apartment from any heat that comes in from outside and they work like a charm! My top floor apartment has stayed relatively cool while it is super hot and humid outside, and my air conditioner isn't having to work so hard this year thankfully. I actually have these covering the entrance between my kitchen and living room, and the difference between the rooms is massive. The living room and rest of the apartment are temperate, while the kitchen is sweltering (I don't want to have another a/c unit just to put in the kitchen). The magnetic closures are practically magic and help to seal the rooms off exceptionally well.

Beautiful Heavy Duty White Curtains!!!

Awesome that I can have White Curtains that are totally Black out curtains!!!! During the day I have the pretty Bright white look I was going for in the decorating of my master bedroom!!! And in the evening and particularly in the early morning hours I can have a total blacked out room to sleep peacefully and cool as late as I want on a summer morning!!! These are beautiful with great texture and style, they look like Very expensive designer curtains!!! Love them, ten stars!!! Thank you!!!
