priceless tool if you have a lot of drywall

I used this for about 200 sheets of drywall in my basement. It is amazing. it is super fast and easy to use. I can't imagine trying to do such a big project without it. screws are a bit pricey compared to just a box of screws, but again well worth it. I bought this one since it can also do larger screws, although I have not used it for anything but drywall so far. Plenty of power, so should work for larger screws such as a deck using the 3.5 inch screws. Rugged, took a lot of abuse from an amateur. a couple of complaints: After about 150 sheets, it seems the mechanism to feed the screws got a bit sticky and it is harder to feed the screws in than it was at first. It is big but not that heavy - i opted for the corded model thinking the battery would make it too heavy. since it is big it is hard to get in small spaces. for straight on drywall in a room it is great, but small closets or around soffits it is big. If you are up against the ceiling drywall trying to do the top row of screw on the wall, it will scar the ceiling - as you press it against the wall the mechanism gouges the ceiling, so it is difficult to get screws in corners and to get a straight shot (if you are not straight on, it won't sink the screw all the way). It took me a while to figure out what was causing the gouges. Can't find replacement bit. I would buy again for sure.

With 2500 screws used it was well worth it

Built a 20 X 30 foot deck and I cannot imagine doing it the old fashion way. Easy to load and very few issues with this tool. Saved me a ton of time. Highly recommend

Great gun

Tried 3 different guns, rigid was almost unusable, makita with the collated attachment was pretty good, this one was the best.

This is the real deal!

Perfect heavy duty screw gun! BUT it does take some getting used to! As does any new tool. I am hanging 1000 sq.ft. of 1/2" ceiling drywall using long 1-5/8" coarse thread screws and I have trouble at the end joints when I try to angle the screws. I end up not driving them all the way in, etc. so I use an impact driver with a dimple bit. My house is from 1978 so the trusses may have "hardened" over time?

This thing works absolutely amazing! Such a huge timesaver! Worth every penny!

I bought this to re-screw all the floors in my 50-year-old, 2400 sq. ft. house before re-carpeting the rooms and laying down laminate flooring. Before using this tool, I had dozen's of squeaks. Now they floors are secure and I did the work in a fraction of the time. The screws and tool paid for themselves on this job alone!
