Good Switch

Just wired up three of these on the helm switch panel for a small aluminum boat. Seems well made. They fit perfectly in the existing holes. It took a bit of trial and error to figure out how to wire it. I was surprised there were not directions. Here's what I learned: there are three terminals located in the 1, 4, and 5 spots on the back of the switch. Not sure if it's the same for everyone, but ran a ground (neutral) from the battery to #1, the positive from the item you are trying to power to #4, and the positive from the battery to #5. Lastly, run the ground (neutral) from the item you are powering to the battery neutral. In this configuration the switch works great. LED is only on when the switch is on. Gave it 4 stars b/c I can't speak to it's longevity and feel like there should have been some instructions.
