Thinner glass, but good replacement for original mid-century modern globe

A very good replacement for our broken original mid-century modern globe, however, the glass is much thinner than the original. While the glass is thinner, it still appears to be a good copy from the outside. The lighter weight is better for the track to which it is hanging, but I would have appreciated an exact replacement. Still happy with the globe.

Ordered four of these pendant lights.. Had to exchange one because bottom of globe was dark (like burnt out bulb ). Had no problem with the exchange or exchanged product. We have them on dimmers and enjoy the warm glow to bright light that evenly bounces off the opal glass.

All arrived in good shape. Bulbs are not included

Used several different size globes on a new building project. All arrived in good shape. Bulbs are not included. I used CFLs and they seem to be working just fine. Not good for LEDs as LEDs require air flow and can not be enclosed. Globe opening at top is only 4 inches. A regular spot light bulb will not fit as I want to use this for down lighting but ended up with just a regular Circular Florence light. Cords are only a couple of feet in length.

You get what you pay for!

Friendly price for this style of fixture, though the globe itself is not a perfect sphere. Towards the opening at the top of the globe, mine is a bit misshapen and from some angles looks a little wonky.

Very pleased. Also used medallion (purchased separately). I like that I can put my own LED bulb in.

Very nice light indeed. Perfect size for a bathroom. Very easy to install. it's nice you can't see the bulb. No glare

Beautiful

This is a beautiful light fixture, good quality. My electrician had no trouble trimming it to the right length and installing it. Looks great in my 1960's era house and really lights up the room very well.
