Not what expected

I returned the shoes. First, the sizing info is incorrect - the shoes are a way too small, 2 or 3 sizes smaller than street shoes. Also they seemed to be too firm - I just need more comfortable ones as I usually dance for hours. Though they can be alright for those dancers who like to 'feel' their feet. Cannot be assertive here as I did not really wear them - was not able even put them on..

Wouldn't reccomend them

Ordering one size up was exactly correct in terms of fit. I did need to purchase some ball of the foot cushions for these shoes as I personally don't wear heels very often. **Update. I've had these shoes a about a month and one of the cross straps over the toes just broke at the attachment point. I'm disappointed too, why was the sewn in point for the strap so short? Also the ankle straps are quite short and for someone like me with larger ankles they actually cut into my foot. Not very comfortable and there is no cushioning. I can wear them for about an hour before I need to sit and considering that I dance about 3-4 hours a night, these are not good shoes. I had bought some ball of foot cushions to try and remedy the lack of cushioning, but ditched them as the shoe became tighter in the ball of foot area when I wore them. The inner sole of the shoe is cracking and splitting too, so much so that the top of the outer sole is showing through. These shoes should have lasted at least 6 months for the $40ish I paid for them. Going to be buying real tango shoes soon.

I followed the recommendations of other buyers to buy above my shoe size and they fit well. I wear a 7 1/2 but bought a 9. They are my first pair of Latin style dance shoes so there is not much else I can say.

They aren't kidding--order a size up!

They said to size up, but they didn't have any sizes 7.5 or 8 in stock, so I ordered a 7 (my street size). I was hoping I would be in luck, because I've been looking for affordable dance shoes ever since I started taking Latin dance lessons two weeks ago, but the shoes were definitely too small. My toes were uncomfortably squished together and practically hanging over the front of the shoe when I tried them on, so they had to get sent back! I hope that if you need to order a size up, they have something in stock for you. They seemed like a good deal for professional dance shoes otherwise.

Fair enough for the price. The size is not right to the marked, need to order one size up than usual.

Small and uncomfortable

After reading the reviews about the shoes running small, I ordered 2 sizes up from my street shoe size (I wear a 9 and ordered an 11). The shoes fit terribly. They were simultaneously loose on the heel and tight in the toe. My toes hung off the edge a bit and the strap cut into the big toes. They were cute but the looked and felt sort of cheap. I returned them for a refund.
