They seem perfect right out of the box..,
I like the way they look and feel on my foot. I only walked around the apt. and back and forth to my car but they seemed to be nearly the same fit and quality as my merrell siren wp hikers that i've had for at least 10 years (I didn't wear them heavily every year of that long period). So , all that said, I'll have to see how they fair on a long walk. Already I can tell that they are a warmer than the merrells so I think they definately are for colder weather. AS for snow, rain and very cold winters; it's hard to tell without the direct experience. I'd like to also add that the foot bed gave me support just like the merrells I took off to try these boots on. Support is important to me . I don't have large feet but my width is not narrow it's medium ; boots seem to be a true medium width. We'll see how these hold up to wear and tear and weather.

Comfort for long days hitting the slopes or working
I bought these to keep my feet warm during winter and they have not disappointed. They are waterproof and a great height for trudging through snow. Your toes stay warm and dry for long days in the cold weather. 10/10 recommend and will probably be buying another pair soon. I love these boots. For sizing I got a size 9 and typically wear a size 9. Sizing was accurate and true to size

I was on a fence with these ones. But I’m soo happy I decided to get them! They look much better on a foot! Super lightweight, comfy and warm! Love them!

Light & Comfortable
These hiking boots is light and very comfortable. I normally wear size 7.5 but I purchased size 8. I like it loose for when I wear thick socks it will be comfortable. I used it for when I went I went hiking. It was perfect.

Better than expected, no surprises!
I love the shoes. They are exactly what I wanted: warm, comfortable, not too high up on the ankle, and rugged sole. They are still slippery on ice, though, but then everything is. I assume they'll have a little more traction once a bit warned.

Meilleur soulier de marche que j’ai eu. Ça fait déjà plusieurs années que j’ai cette petite botte et je n’en prendrai pas d’autre. Très bon aussi pour hommes.

Salomon boots… the best.
I bought my first pair of Salomon boots in 1999, absolutely LOVED them, to the point that a year ago I filled them with shoe goo so I could get another year out of them. So this year I broke down and bought these ones. They are absolutely top notch. Warmer than the last ones, excellent fit and arch support. My only complaint (and it is minor) is that my first boots had the kind of hooks at the top that grabbed the laces and held them so even if my boots came undone, the laces stayed in place. Wish these ones had them, but it’s not a deal breaker.

Die Schuhe sind sehr bequem und haben eine gute Fersen-Dämpfung, die allerdings nach wenigen Malen tragen schon leicht nachgibt). Die Schuhe halten sehr warm. Leider sind sie nicht atmungsaktiv, und meine Füße schwitzen darin beim Laufen. Der Stoff schlägt leider Falten an den Innen-und Außenseiten, wo man es gar nicht erwartet. Schade, bei dem Preis habe ich mehr erwartet.

Nicht die gewohnte Qualität
Ich war bisher von Salomonschuhen begeistert und besitze mehrere Paare. Bei diesen habe ich mir beim ersten Tragen blutige Knöchel geholt. Zudem waren an den Schnürsenkeln Aufkleber angebracht, die nicht restlos entfernt werden konnten.
