Used for my wedding First Look!

Jurassic Park is mine and my husbands' favorite movie series to watch together, so when I came across the various First Look prank ideas for the wedding day, the dino suit was instantly my favorite! I bought the dino suit, knowing it would inflate over the wedding dress so as to not touch my hair, makeup, or dress and mess anything up. As you can see in the picture, the suit had the reaction I had hoped for! The suit itself takes about 10 minutes to fully inflate (though I recommend turning the pump on a little bit before you want to put it on so you don't have to fight the material to get it on properly). There are footy holes in the dino feet so your feet can go all the way through, with tight elastic around your ankles to hold the air inside (so you can put your shoes on AFTER you get the dino suit on, thank goodness). The sound box is in the palm of the right hand so all you have to do is squeeze and you are making ferocious velociraptor sounds (it wasn't as loud as I had hoped it would be, but you could still hear it)! The head is kept upright with an elastic headpiece that fastens almost like a helmet around your head. But once it's fully inflated, the head pretty much stays upright by itself and the headpiece is mainly for keeping your face properly positioned in the window so you can see the things you almost run into right before you run into them anyways because you're not used to having a tail. The reason I'm giving the velociraptor identity suit 3 stars instead of 5 is because right as I got out of the golf cart (I was hunched over, not quite sitting but not quite standing), the zipper busted, letting out most of my air and refusing to get back on the track. My dad then held it closed to blow up enough to finish the first look, but that's why in the picture the head looks like it's about to fall. Because it was. It was a great idea and I've seen people use these all the time with much better luck than I, apparently, but I was a little disappointed that it broke on me, especially on the wedding day and not the time I tried it on to make sure it worked properly where I could have fixed it! Oh, and don't plan on being inside it for very long. It's a sauna in there. Pretty sure I lost 5 pounds in sweat in the 15 minutes I was in it, which is good for your wedding day I guess.

Raptor with sound-so awesome!!

This was the best Halloween costume ever!! We bought it for my 10 year old son who is about 4’10” and it was slightly big on him, but the kids version sounded way too small. I think the parents trick-or-treating with their kids loved it the most! He had a lot of requests to run around and parents talking about what they would do with one as adults. It feels hot inside for a minute but the fan is super helpful. Because my son is a little small we had trouble keeping his face in the window but he managed, and it is an adult costume so totally not unreasonable. He LOVED his costume and says he wants to wear it next year as well, and even wanted to make sure I sent photos to his teacher because he was so proud. It held up surprisingly well as you could hear parts dragging on the sidewalk while we were walking around but it never got a hole or anything which is awesome! My older daughter was not trick-or-treating but still went up to the door with him to hold his tail because he kept knocking things over! The sound plays a few times also, but it was a pain getting to the battery pack! I would definitely purchase again. Maybe next year we will be a family of dinosaurs!

Easy entertainment for all ages

Bought this to be a fun, easy costume to wear for conventions once they can resume again. Ended up being able to use it for a 2 year olds birthday party. It was a hit with all of the adults but sadly not with the kids. It inflates quickly and easily as long as you have your legs through the provided holes and be careful with the zipper. After just one use the zipper did get caught and had problems sealing the suit afterwards but it’s an easy fix. Suit probably fits shorter people better, I’m 5’2” and the window was almost perfect for my face. Can get hot in the suit though so be careful!

Great FUN!

This & the T-Rex were both purchased to surprise nieces & nephews & surprise them it did, but I think the adults had more fun wearing them, waving at peeps as they drove by & just having fun. The adults wearing them ranged from 5'5" to 6' & it fit each very well. They are warm, so be prepared for that. This one has a sound maker, which was fun, but the T-Rex is silent. The material is a strong nylon feel, like a thin tent & so far have held up well. The air machine is small enough to fit in a pocket in the costume & worked very well. We played with them for over & hour & there is still battery life left.

Fits 5'10" 200 pound man.

It fits fine on a 5'10" 200 pound man. Anyone taller might have a little difficulty seeing out of the face mask. Had an issue with the zipper. Instead of the opening going all the way to the bottom of the zipper it is just sewn across about an inch or so above the end. The first one we got the zipper broke before it was even put on. But we got a replacement immediately. The zipper was the same way but I reinforced by sewing and seems to be working fine - but we are being careful. It's not quite loud enough. Otherwise it's great!

Good print and not smeared

I bought only for Halloween night for Trunk or treat. it was worth it but dress in short or light t shirt kept me warm through the night. HAD to replace the batteries that same night, it took alot juice up.

Just buy it lol

Don’t feel like the fan was good enough to keep the suit inflated well. The look of the suit was great though. Kids loved it and some smaller kids were even scared at the trunk or treat at church. My sister wore the costume and claimed it was a little hot but I think she just wanted to complain about wearing it. I wore it some and it wasn’t that bad. Definitely fun and worth a buy to have some extra fun!

Excellent quality!

The media could not be loaded. Ordered the raptor for my 13 year old son. There is lots of room in this, but it accommodates his size. It was very easy to get into. He slid his feet in first, pulled the suit up to his hips, arms in next and I zippered him up. Took seconds for the costume to fill be inflated. You need 4 AA batteries for the fan. The sound pack in the hand has a battery. Just pull the clear tab. On a side note, his dog has discovered a huge gate for raptors. ;)

Lo malo: el cierre es muy delicado, (aguas) el ventilador "creo yo" no suministra la cantidad adecuada para que el traje este completamente inflado. es para usarlo una hora ya que es muy caluroso y sofocante. Lo bueno: serás la sensación en cualquier fiesta, foto o video. yo mido 1.70 y peso unos 63k y la medida es perfecta ni muy chico ni muy grande lo recomiendo si te gusta ser el alma de la fiesta.
