Perfect for my deck ramp

I bought this to have a non-slip surface going down my deck ramp so that my 90 year old father-in-law can navigate down into the backyard with his walker. This product more than does the job and it arrived early, if I need more of this I will be ordering thru here.

Good for even sufaces

It didn’t work for us as well as I hoped. It was just a bit too flimsy. Our intended use was to cover uneven gravel to allow rolling from ramp to car. A more rigis , solid product is whAt we needed. The product itself is sturdy for a flat even smooth surface. It has some weight. Does not blow away in our strong winds ( and lately we have had a lot of near tornado force winds!)

Good value

Used this to redo the rubber floor on our golf cart. Very easy to use and seems very durable, especially for the cost.

Good grip

There's a few reviews that complain about oiliness and smell. Mine isn't either. I have a ramp made of composite decking that becomes quite slippery when wet. It was raining on the day I received it and I layed it down on the wet deck. The back had enough grip where it didn't slide. I was a little concerned that the ribs were horizontal and though providing grip going up & down, might not prevent slippage sideways. I danced around on it to see & grip was good there too. There's a slight flip at the end because of being rolled which may someday relax but I may have to tack it if it doesn't. Ice and snow will negate any traction as the grooves aren't that deep or aggressive. I'll remove it in the summer as hot sun & rubber aren't long friends. Maybe it'll last but I'm not taking the chance. Nice safety addition.

Good product, bad service.

Would not allow me to cancel order within 5 minutes. We ordered 15 feet but needed 20 feet. So we ordered both because they would not allow us to cancel within 5 minutes. Bad business. Otherwise, everything else was good.

Good product.

THE GOOD Bought this to cover the basement floor where our washer and dryer are. I'm really happy with it. After a short time the rubber relaxes and lays flat. I had to put 3 strips 10ft long side by side to cover 10' X 9' Good thing. The seams laid flat next to each other. THE BAD I wanted to stick it down at the seams. I tried every double stick tape I could find. I tried a few types of construction adhesive. NOTHING STICKS TO IT! I EVEN SANDED THE BOTTOM AND CLEANED IT WITH SOLVENT! DID NOTHING! That being said the seams laid flat and didn't lift. I'm still very pleased with it.

Perfect for my van

I have no idea why auto manufacturers continue to unholster car interiors with carpeting. It's a dirt magnet. I bought this to use to line the floor of my van. It's thin enough that it lies flat easily and can be cut to shape. The grooves capture dirt, sand, whatever and keep it from finding its way into the corner and nooks of the interior. I cut it in such a way that it lies over the trim at the door edge so that dirt won't collect under the trim edges. Now I can easily sweep debris out of the van. The only downside is the smell which I expect will disappear over time. For now, it's worth the inconvenience.

Fresh

These were fresh from the factory. I could smell it. I had to trim it to fit my need, and it cut like butter. That's how I know my product was fresh. I never had time to sit and deteriorate in a warehouse. When it rained, some of the factory oils pooled and rinsed off. I wish I hadn't seen that. A bit of unwanted factory pollution came coated over the product. Hopefully that was the only time it does that.

Not what I expected

The length of the mat was totally off (the length was slightly under 7 feet long!) Whoever did the customized 'cutting' did not do the measurement properly. Put it on our dock ramp. It's somewhat slippery right now (perhaps because it's brand new and still has the oily surface). Maybe a good rain will get it acclimatized. Anyway, not too happy with this purchase, but it's too cumbersome to return the product!

Great quality!

Bought this for a mat outside our tent as it would be easy to clean. We used to have a rug type of mat and it was impossible to clean. This feels like really good quality! Note: yes it does smell. A strong rubber smell. Why wouldn’t it? It’s rubber! Also note: thus is just ONE mat. The picture shows 2 and the title/description says matS so I wasn’t sure. Good thing we only really need half of one anyway.

Too slippery to use on a wheelchair ramp

I just about got a hernia rolling this thing out on our outdoor wheelchair ramp. Much to my dismay, and after waiting weeks for the darned thing to arrive, It is totally useless! They advertise this as being suitable for outdoor ramps, but it is far too slippery and offers no traction at all. I almost fell on the ramp walking down on it. It is a total waste of money. I will get my daughter to help me box it up somehow and return it
