Seems well built
Grill went together without a problem. Seems well built. It fits in our RV compartment like a glove. We are excited to give it a try soon. We did find a scratch on the left corner. No indication of an impact on the box though. We will live with it.

The problem and a partial fix
I like this flat top grill but.... the drainage system is really awful. As you can see from the pictures, the drain hole for the grill is not in line with the hole or the drainage cup and even if it was... that gap is not acceptable. If there is just a trickle of oil and crumblies from cooking, it will handle it but it has to be a trickle otherwise oil goes all over the place. And...as you can see mine came dented around the lip. So.. I got a steel (has to be metal, dont use plastic) funnel from a beard oil making kit. The hole for the funnel was too small so I drilled it out and shortened it. I think it should work and I know it will work better than it was working before I drilled the funnel out bigger. I just haven't tried it. You will have to experiment like I have to get it to an acceptable drain system. Make sure you cut off the funnel tip because it interferes with removing the drip container and inserting it into the hole to begin with...

Works like a charm.
The media could not be loaded. Cooks great. Even heat throughout. Definitely worth the money. Unfortunately clean up was a little rough, was hoping the smooth surface would clean up like a frying pan but it didn’t. The residue from my vegetables won’t come off.

Love it
We have been using this griddle for over a week now. Just got back from camping, and used it everyday. Making breakfast for 9 people was a breeze. I was able to cook bacon and pancakes at the same time. Very convenient to move and transport. When we first took it out of the box, it was very shiny. We followed the directions as instructed. We washed it and seasoned it. We did worry that we weren’t doing it correctly. We’ve seasoned dutch ovens in the past and thought it was strange to do it with this griddle. We did exactly as instructed by the manufacturer. Wiped oil on it with a paper towel and heated it until it quit smoking. Wiped it with oil and repeated several times. The black shiny layer did peel off. We worried because of other mixed reviews on this process. Glad we didn’t listen to some of the reviews because this was necessary. If we wouldn’t have done this, we would have ended up with black chunks in our food, as other reviewers complained about. I like to turn the middle burner on 1st. That way the other 2 burners will turn on when turning the propane knobs on. No need to use a lighter to light. Turn propane on at the tank, turn knob to the fire icon, and push the striker to light. Very easy to use and clean. I highly recommend this griddle to anyone looking for one. Easy to season! Easy to light! Easy to cook on! Easy to clean! Easy to move and store! Very convenient! Perfect for our family of 7 plus some! We are very happy with our purchase, and look forward to using it for many years to come!!!

Worth the price
This is our first griddle so I didn't want to spend a lot until I decided we like this method of cooking. The Royal Gourmet 3 burner griddle has a lot to like but not perfect. Pros: Portable Heats up fast and hot (for those who say it doesn't, you my have a propane source that's already pressure reduced) Large enough surface area Cons: Uneven heat. Use a temperature gun to get a better handle on the hot spots Certainly not non-stick Grease drain hole doesn't line up when needing to level the unit (I added a small metal funnel) Overall, it's worth the price of admission for us.

Great griddle
Fabulous griddle for outdoor cooking. Took a while to heat up evenly with some smoke from burning oil on the griddle. Once evenly hot it cooks fantastic. Made pancakes for 13 people so effortlessly. Looking forward to using it more often. Had it on a wooden table and no concerns about heat under it. Used plastic spatula as I think the griddle surface could scratch. It exceeded my expectations.

Extremely Disappointed!! Never buy it
The griddle advertised as ceramic coated !! No seasoning required.. well it's utter flop.. its not only false marketing .. its health hazard.. i even seasoned it with 3 rounds as I did with all my iron griddles. The coat started peeling off.. stuck to my omelets . Hashbrowns.. WTH .. why is it even allowed to be sold ?????? Need my full money back.. the heating grid is pretty good. I have no complaints.. but the main thing which is the griddle is a flop..

No pans in the trailer now! Love this.
This has eliminated the need for frying pans in our travel trailer. Easy to use and clean, makes you feel like a line cook. It can be a bit heavy for some as it is not tiny, but it’s really just awkward to carry because it’s technically two pieces. That said it is not an obstacle that can’t be worked around. Found no particular hot spots, though a inch and a half strip on the side closest to the controls does not get as hot as the rest. Wind can play a factor in how the heat gets distributed, but that isn’t a big problem either. All in all I love this thing!

Screw broke trying to put it together (super cheap parts) Impossible to clean (can’t use metal) Hot spots galore (very uneven cooking) Only reason I’m still using is because I have to save up for a good one to replace it with Do not purchase save your money and buy something with a cast or steel grill not coated!

Bought for camping
Griddle works well and cleans easily…I really like the griddle. Unfortunately they built it with non-standard propane fittings and do not offer a direct to rv/camper/trailer hookup and you need to carry a full size ta k or have something fabricated…very disappointing
