Inconsistent pattern, though pretty

I loved this paper the moment I saw it and honestly purchased it without knowing where it would go. Well. I first tried installing in our half bath, but after several days and failed attempts I came to the conclusion that it’s impossible to hang this paper in long (in my case 9 ft) lengths. The pattern is a few mm off and as the length increases the difference in pattern becomes more obvious. I’ve done a lot of wallpapering, and this was the most maddening experience yet.
