Fun, but quite hard

While my family did have an enjoyable time playing this game, I've chosen to give it 3 stars for a few reasons. 1, it's very hard. I'd consider myself a pretty knowledgeable amateur on food trivia, and it was difficult for even me. The hard parts are the historical and cookbook name/author categories, so if you know a ton about whoever the heck started the farm to table revolution and what the name of their book is, this game might be more suited to you. Because it's so hard, the game takes ages to play; we were at it for an entire afternoon, long past when anyone was really still interested in playing. We had to make up a few additional rules to speed it up at the end. It took so long that we actually reached the end of all the cards. At any rate, we so far have not played again.

Super fun, learning a lot!

My boyfriend and I love this! Yes some of the questions are obscure and difficult but that's part of the fun...learning and seeing if we can remember next time the question comes up. We had no idea we lived so close to a library containing 20,000 cookbooks and related material, how cool!

Random unknown trivia

Got this as a gift to give a chef friend. Friend liked it but states that the trivia facts in the game are very obscure and mostly unknown even to a professional trained chef who graduated from culinary institute and has worked all over the world. But friend states it is interesting and fun anyway.

We've played, adored, learned and gifted and the original (along with Wine Wars and Foodie Fight Rematch!) for years and have been hungry for more!
