Buy Two
We love this! I agree with others that if you want to see the whole alphabet you need to buy two boxes

Wish there wasn’t a hole in each…it would be easier to clean in the sink/washing machine
Wish there wasn’t a hole in each, they would be easier to submerge in water for easier cleaning.

Creative fun idea - just a little worried about smeared paint?
I haven't tried playing with this item with my child yet as the one I had received seemed used/damaged (through no fault of the seller, who has been excellent to work with!), but it seems like it's going to be a really great toy once we receive a new set. The colors are very bright and there is something very fun and almost soothing about popping them together and hearing that tiny "pop!" sound. Two caveats: this could have just been the item I had received, but the painted letters had smeared on about 40% of the pops, raising concerns that a teething child might be ingesting a mouthful of paint. Also, the fact that there are only 13 sets (double-sided, to make the whole alphabet) will make it tricky to spell words or to find certain letters (for example, if the "A" side of a pop is up on the floor and you ask your child to find the "M" pop, she won't be able to unless she knows it's on the back of the A or flips the A over to see...). You could probably use this to your advantage with an older child to make it more fun/add more mystery - but just something to be aware of. That said, besides the paint smearing issue (which I assume was just with my set), this seem like they will be a big hit, as they are colorful and delicious looking - and the perfect size and feel for small hands. I'll update this once I get the replacement set and try it out with my 18 month old (who I think will be too young for this, but will probably like sorting the colors and making them pop into each other!). Update: the new set does NOT have the smeared paint and is great fun! We even play with them in the bathtub. At 18 months, my baby is able to clip the pieces together by herself about 60% of the time -- and enjoys the challenge. We're using them just for colors now - but will have fun with letters when she is ready! I'm adding back the star I had taken off b/c of the paint. :) [oh, and the price on Amazon is the best one around right now]

Pretty close to perfect
As a learning tool for ny daughters, I think this is awesome. As toddlers, they can match the colors as they’re still learning their letters and they’ve had a blast playing with them so far. They’re durable plastic, but not hard so my teething 4 month old likes to munch on them too. I am a little bummed because our set had some duplicates, we have 2 Fs, 2 Js, and 2 Ms. So we’re missing letters of the alphabet

Great for learning lowercase or upper case letters separately.
At first I thought, I should have read reviews more clearly because I did not realize that there would only be 13 sets and different letters posted on each side. This was a little bit annoying, because I really think you should have a full set of the popsicles, so you can line them up for alphabet learning. However, I'm not completely disappointed by these. My biggest reason for buying them was to help my child learn his lowercase letters. He already knows all his capital letters, so I want to use these to help him with his lower case, which can be done in a few ways. Sure, I can't put them all out with both uppercase and lowercase, but I can lay them all out as single popsicles with all 26 letters showing in lowercase. I also can flip them over and have all uppercase letters showing. In this case, my child can learn his lower case. He doesn't have to associate them with the uppercase ones, because that will come once he knows them all. Also, at that point, he can put them together and they only fit one way, so there is no way to accidently match the letter A with the letter n, just because it is on the opposite side. I do, however, think I am going to buy another set so that I can have the whole set of alphabet to use for other things. So far, I've only had them for a couple hours, despite my child's obsession with letters, he seems more interested in matching the colors together. I think in this sense, the letter recognition is a little to easy, since every letter can only match one way and with the same color. I think it may have been better if there was not as many colors so there was room for correction. However, I'm sure this was made as a self-correcting toy, but it doesn't allow for a child to really have to think about whether the two matching color pieces were put together because their letters matched. My son is more focused on the fact that the colors match and by default would get the letters right all the time, even if he really didn't know them. So in all, I am not completely disappointed, I wish there were more popsicles, but there are things that you can still do with these that make them worthwhile. Also, the material seams pretty good quality and better than really hard plastic which is nice for little hands. The letters may eventually wear off, but by that point, I'm sure my child will know his alphabet fully and want to use them for something else. For the cost, I think you get what you expect. I don't think that the price I paid was too much and the cost of educational, durable toys these days would definitely be more if they made the whole set single-sided. So I would recommend this product to anyone that really wants to focus on alphabet learning and not just matching of alphabet letters!

Not what I was expecting
Note the Popsicles have different letters on each side so you can only work with half of the alphabet at once and can be confusing for small kids to play alone. Also they are soft, like material of a bath toy, not hard plastic so more likely to get damaged if stepped on.

Not quite perfect
Everyone else has said it, but it bears repeating: the fact that is is 13 sets of double-sided popsicles, and not 26 sets of the full alphabet, is a little ridiculous. You can’t spill them out and encourage your kid to actually match the letters because either the wrong side is right-side up, or they are matching by color. I don’t know, maybe they did this on purpose so folks would order two sets. In that case, brilliant tactic because that is exactly what I’m going to do (like many others) so that she has to find matches and there will at least be 2 sets of each color so she can’t just automatically match by color. I want to love this but it just…leaves me wanting. Also, I was sent a very used product with a box that is hanging on for dear life. I don’t appreciate that since I didn’t select to purchase it used. If it had been a gift, it’d be really frustrating. Do better, Amazon.

fun letter pops
nice idea a bit advanced for my 3 year old yet. find it a little confusing as the pops are double sided which i knew about. however when product arrived i saw how confusing it was for a little person. my daughter does enjoy playing with them though and can recognise some of the letters. perfect for playing shop too.

fab toy to start the kids off early learning
I use these with my 3.5 year old and 13 months old children. This is a great way of seeing the link between upper case and lower. We've started teaching her lower case and this toy is a Godsend
