Not Convenient or Safe.
We got this for Michigan Winters, we have a small house and no basement so I thought this might heat our 1-car garage up enough that we may be able to enjoy being outside once in a while in the winter, but it's a no-go. For starters, this thing is not convenient at all and it makes me feel VERY unsafe. It's not difficult necessary to get going if you know what to do, but your average person couldn't just walk up to this thing and start it up. It also makes me extremely nervous. You're supposed to hook a propane tank up to it and the line is about 6 feet long. So once you start it, you have a large flame going on the inside of the heater itself, and then a few feet away from it is a whole propane tank. The fumes are also strong, I expected that and knew that we would have to keep some portion of the garage open while it is heating, but I didn't think it would make it so that you can sit comfortably in the same vicinity. I got pretty light headed sitting near the door, with the garage door 3 feet open and was about 10 feet away from the heater. So really, what's the point? I don't recommend this unless you are heating a large area with good ventilation and don't mind still being a bit cold, possibly a workshop maybe.

Awesome little heater
Super easy to use right out of the box. It heats up quick and pushes out the warmth without the smell of conventional salamander style heaters. I recommend this heater to anyone looking for a good heat source at a good price.

Puts out a ton of heat!
This thing blows out a ton of heat even on it's low setting. The only problem with it is it is super loud. This though is the nature of this type of heater. They are all loud. Very simple to operate. The A/C cord is VERY short so you will need and extension or or be VERY close to an outlet.

Only one thing was broken. The back screw was stripped out on the handle .
This heater works great, very easy to use. I heat my closed in patio with it, which keeps my plants warm during this Winter.

Great heater but could use one thing.
I own a machine shop and am no stranger to tools. What this heater offers that others don't is the ability to regulate the amount of propane/heat coming out the heater. I can turn this heater down far less than 40,000 Btus once the room is warm so I can save on propane cost. Finding heaters under 30,000 btus is almost impossible. The only thing I would like to see on this heater is an on/off switch so that my arthritic hands don't have to be plugging/unplugging the tight plug. I will be adding one. At the price point this heater is really perfect. I also have diesel heaters and HATE the stink when they start which lingers forever. This heater gets past all that. It's light so easily transported and can be used under a vehicle in the cold......Not too bad I dare say.

Great heat output for the size
I have spent hours trying to heat a garage space with electric heaters and finally decided to throw in the towel and upgrade to a propane heater. Let me tell you money well spent. When I work in my garage I want something that can heat it up quickly and I can just turn it down or off when I'm warm. This has been a great addition. I wish I hadn't spent the money previously on an electric unit. Within 10-20 minutes my garage is nice and warm, even with a window open. The piezo electric ignitor constantly runs, so I am a little concerned it would eventually wear out, but enjoy not having to worry about needing to shut off the gas and relight. There is also a nice heat sensitive sticker on the tube that changes color when the metal gets hot to let you know it has cooled down enough to touch. Surprising amount of heat for such as small size.

Noisy but works great
This heater is easy to use. It worked perfectly in my garage (with ventilation) when my son and I were working on my Jeep this past winter. ????????

Efficient Heater
The propane regulator that connects the heater to the LP tank was NOT in the box... The heater is good quality and built well...My only complaint was the missing propane connection....I had one so I didn't bother with a return...good product.
