Did not use as intended but worked perfectly

I needed a breakout cable for my electronic brake controller and this was the only thing I could get in time. I cut off the OEM connector and used the flying leads to wire my up. Worked perfectly, and the price was reasonable, I do wish the controller came with the flying lead harness, that also got me in big trouble…

Didn't work out of box.

A loose wire in one end had to be reattached. Poor quality control. Works well after repair.

Brake controller

I would have liked an option of a longer length wire, so I could install the brake controller in a location away from my legs. If in an accident your legs are going to fly into the brake controller, that's not a great time.

Needs repinned before installing,

When I installed this on my 99 silverado 1500 with factory tow package everytime I hit the brakes the parking lights came on. After awhile of troubleshooting and diagrams I found they had the wires pinned wrong for the vehicle side. After I repinned them in the correct location everything worked. I'm only giving 2 stars because I was finally able to make it work.
