Perfect turn tool!

My local paint store doesn’t stock this item. It’s a wonderful help in painting trim and I owned one years ago. Quite pleased this product is still available!

Nice item

Useful, but metal lip is too small for easy painting. Rollers hardly fit without making a big mess.

Kinda flimsy and warps easy

Works but plastic doesn’t stay straight so I went and bought a 12” & 24” metal edge guard which are more durable

Good product that lasts a long time.

Got this in only four days. As pictured. They came in a big enough box with enough padding. Three came in the same box. Nice when all or most of your order comes in together. Good prices. This is my second one. I bought one several years ago and used it many times. This product is very convenient because it is light and slides in places very well. The only reason I decided to replace my first one is because I did not want to clean it after I used a black oil based paint and it got broke.

Not very durable apparently

I thought this would be a cool thing to have. Then I realized it was broken on one end meaning that it could only be used on one side. Kind of defeats the purpose. Instead of just sending a replacement, I’m told to send the old one back first. As if a picture isn’t good enough. So now I have to spend gas to drive to Whole Foods or UPS to send back a broken item, and then hopefully receive a usable one. Good luck to me. Update: a replacement was shipped out but before it got to my house I get this message [Unfortunately, a problem occurred during shipping and we had to cancel your delivery.] which is super sketchy. Top notch customer service!

Works great on trim.

Earlier this year, my husband and I painted the outside of our house. We were a bit nervous, because we have a significant amount of trim on the house. This made it much easier to paint the trim a darker color than the main part of the house, without bleeding the dark paint onto the light paint. Naturally, we needed to wipe the paint off the trip guard when moving it from one place to another, but that wasn't a big deal. Just have some rags handy for that, and this little gem will make your painting job a lot easier.

Unexpected

I was unsure at first but this device really is useful. Sped up painting and cutting in, especially around baseboards and the floor. Great buy.

Save Time and Money

I'm no expert painter, but would consider myself intermediate. This tool saves hours of time when painting! Easy to use, forget the tape and move forward. One thing to note you will always want a damp cloth beside you to clean the trim tool after a couple of passes when cutting in.

Tape is better!!!!

Idea is good but the blade should be made of flexible rubber, same as car wipers so it really seals between the surface and blade. Might work better if you are spray painting.
