Vibrant and sharp images, perfect for family puzzling

Love the clarity and vibrant colors of the images - makes it more fun to search for pieces, and even children and tweens can be challenged but succeed in helping.

If you enjoy puzzles, this is a winner!

I am about 30% done with this puzzle and I am really enjoying it. First, as an outdoor enthusiast, I couldn’t be happier with the theme. Second, I love that Ravensburger added all the detail throughout the puzzle with the hidden moose, the small fish to the right of the dock, the smoke over the campfire … It’s like a relaxing treasure hunt looking for the pieces. Third, while some have complained about the complexity of the puzzle with some slightly muted colors here or there, I don’t share that thought whatsoever. Trust me, if I thought this puzzle was going to be a bear moving forward, I wouldn’t bother. So far, it’s a very middle path puzzle with a range of assembly challenges. Candidly, eyeing the puzzle now, I don’t see any section that will overwhelm …unless you have a goal to complete a 1,000 piece puzzle in 1-2 hours (not my style as I do puzzles to relax and shut down a bit). Re: possible missing pieces, I am only ~ 30% done so I can’t comment yet. While there is a possibility that one of the border pieces is missing (can’t locate it yet), I still like the puzzle too much to care.

Quality!!

I love Ravensburger brand puzzles and this one is a great example as to why! The puzzle itself is enjoyable yet challenging, good for any level of puzzle builders. The pieces are durable, textured, clear and lock together beautifully. The picture of the campsite is super calming and peaceful to see when it’s all completed.

Poor design

This is a hard puzzle. The trees, mountains, and grass are all very tedious to complete. The hues and patterns are so uniform that it is very hard to work with anything other than then shapes of the pieces. What is worse than it being overall difficult, however, is that there are lots of almost interchangeable pieces. I at some point realized that I must have mistakes in the frame, but even after I knew that there were errors, it still took me a long time to actually find them. And in the interior I came across two pairs of pieces that were almost entirely interchangeable in both shape and motif (in the sense that piece A fits in the hole for piece B, and piece B *almost* fits in the hole for piece A). This is just shoddy design. To be clear, I generally love Ravensburger puzzles - I've completed a couple of dozen of them over the last two years alone. But this one was a real disappointment.

Very Nice Puzzle!

Quality pieces, nice colours, some areas easier than others. Upper right trees and band of grass along the bottom were most challenging for me, but not an exercise in frustration. A bright light helps a lot.
