Waste of Money

Waste of Money. As a professional Deck Builder this product is not the best thing Simpson has turned out. We all know nominal lumber sizes versus actual vary in the field. The one I ordered was 1 1/2" exactly when not on the drill. Which by itself is useless on the 1 9/16" boards we see but then when you attach it and just snug it tight its down to 1 7/16" which is useless on all but 25% of the boards which then leads to removing it putting it on removing it and finally tossing it back in the tool box to collect dust. Lastly it would work well for 90 degree board layouts but anything diagonal designs forget it.

Nose Clip

Loved this thing the first fifteen minutes I used it. Then the round part that connects it to the driver broke off. Major bummer. I got this one for free at a trade show, but if I would have paid for it I would have been pissed. Simpson needs to beef this nose clip up then it will be awesome.
