Expect the size to be smaller than what you ordered.

ordered a 7 1/4, it's about half a size smaller than that. Many of the reviews are saying the same thing, which is kind of my own fault. But a great teaching point. The brim is super stiff, which is great if you're trying to ranger roll it. Doesn't take too much effort to shape it the way you want. And yes. It's compliant with the AR.

Fits snug but good

Fits very snug. But good material and the cap somewhat maintains the flat top. The brim is much stiffer , but I hope it will soften up after some use. One remark is that the sizes are off by a bit. I wear a 7, but wish there were a size between 7 and 7/14.. I have learnt the technique is to place it in position from the front and wear /pull it down from back and the sides, this way the snugness is not as uncomfortable.

Sizes all wrong

As other reviews mentioned, the sizes are way too small. I should’ve been 7 1/4 but I took a 7 3/4
