A tractor trailers needs big sturdy tires.

I am 6 foot 5 inches tall and weigh 350 pounds. I need strong and sturdy footwear and these boots/sneaker fit the bill. My feet are long, wide, and thick. These are the only boots/sneakers I feel comfortable in. On days when my feet are extremely swollen (due to various health problems) I can lace them very, very loose and the sides of the boot still stay firm and offer support. I'm far from being a dandy but I still like to look decent when I leave the house. These boots can stand up to months of daily medium duty household chores and still look almost new. I call these boots/sneakers because even though they look like giant tanks sitting on the floor, they look like normal sized sneakers when I'm wearing them. I wear them in the summer with shorts instead on sneaker and they look fine. They also provide the support a large man like myself needs. The last pair I had to get rid of is because the heels wore unevenly after many months of daily use. The rest of the boot looked barely worn. PS: I feel like rating them one star because they are constantly out of stock and I don't want to have to find another boot..... but it would be a sin to give these incredible fitting and wearing boots anything less than 5 STARS! PPS: I haven't been paid for this endorsement but I wouldn't object to being a paid spokesman because these are GREAT boots!

For Steel Toes, these things are comfy!

I am a fan... I never heard of this brand, but I get an allowance from work to buy steel toes and decided to give these a try. Free to me, so I figured 'what the heck'... Impressive. I wear these on and off the jobsite. They're just that comfortable. And I've had them a little over a year now with some wear, but not any worse than my redwings.

Decent shoe for normal widths maybe.

The media could not be loaded. The shoe looks nice, and feels sturdy. There's a few issues with the lacing system that make me worry about the longevity. Also the hard toe insert is not sized appropriately for wide feet (the shoe is an extra extra wide... So this is an important consideration.) Pros: - Looks nice - Hefty - Not terribly expensive as this size of shoe goes - Thick tread for (presumably) long wear Cons: - Simple loops for the laces, which are likely to fail long before everything else - Toe insert is too narrow - Top lace hooks are plastic, and feel pretty flimsy Other thoughts: - The boot is really high, and I'd like to see a variant without it going so far up my ankle, without the toe insert, and with attached metal eyelets for the laces.

ONLY EXTRA WIDE IN THE MIDDLE!!!! UNCOMFORTABLE!

TAPERS TO A NARROW AT THE TOE!!! IS THE TOES THAT NEED THE EXTRA WIDE!! EVEN THE ANKLES ARE CHAFING!
