Mounting

The flush mounting is somewhat hampered by the square hole you need to have to install it. I did not attach it to an electric box so I had to cut acquire hole in the surface to mount it. Not clear when I purchased it.

Easy way to add flush mount lighting to an existing junction box, installed in under 5 minutes!

I wanted to try these out for a bathroom renovation that I did and needed something that would be easy to install over the sink where I had two existing boxes from the old 60's era hanging lights (needless to say the old lights were funky but way too dated). These arrived super fast and I literally installed both of them in under five minutes. The lighting is a warm white so worked perfectly to match the existing light/fan combo. Value for the money is exceptional - highly recommend.

Nice light, not completely directional

These lights look nice and provide the exact hue and brightness I was looking for. I got them as a replacement for the same brand stationary flush mount LED lights. They work will with my dimmer switch too. However, the rim around the pivoting light allows just enough light to escape that it bothers my eyes. I was hoping these would provide a truly indirect light situation, but that outer edge lets just enough light out that even when I have it pivoted toward a wall, and away from me, the light above my TV still bothers me. The dimmer helps a lot with that issue, so it's not a deal breaker. I just wish that little bit of light wasn't escaping in a direction I'm not pointing the light toward.

Nice LED light

Same light as builder installed and provides sufficient light for a small area. I have eight in an area approximately 35ft x 15ft and is well lit.

Not for wet locations

When I looked at this light fixture originally, it said it was rated for wet locations. Not damp, but wet. Well, it is not safe for wet areas. The fixture filled with rain water and started flickering. I immediately removed it and replaced it with something actually approved for wet locations. I think if I were using this light for an interior location, I would have liked it. Unfortunately, it did not work for my needs and is well past the return period.
