Simple and yet elegant.

Purchased two of these for a bathroom remodel. I did not install them personally so I do not know the difficulty however, I like how they look. One thing to be aware of is do not screw the globe holder in very tightly as it will be very difficult to remove. Mine are purchased so that the lightbulbs go in from the top so I do not need to worry about the tightness.

Must have patience for installation.

I love the look of the light, but the part inside the glass globe cover is plastic & cheap. It was almost impossible to screw on the tightener to keep the globe in place. It didn't screw on easily bc it was uneven piece of plastic. I Was about to throw it in the box to return when the the very patient electrican sprayed it with Wd40, & managed with much difficulty to tighten.

These lights are beautiful, useful, and simple. We bought them for our bathroom remodel. They are both beauty and light to a new bathroom.

Great Choice

Beautifully designed fixture and easy to install, was able to replace my old light within 10 minutes. I have the entire brushed nickel Trinity line throughout my house. I love it.

Had to reorder twice and still couldn't use it.

I spent a lot of time looking for the right style when I found this. I was familiar with the Progress brand and knew it to be good quality. The first one I received was missing the mounting bracket kit. The second two both had the light socket installed crooked and the glass shade couldn't slip into place. I did read the other reviews prior to ordering mine and thought they just had bad luck. Next time I'll pay more attention.

nice fixture, quality suspect

Four-star product dropped to two stars due to quality issues. I purchased three units. Two of them were defective. One was a manufacturing defect (unit was not square relative to itself) and the second had a defective socket - bulb went in crooked and would only light if bulb was unscrewed one turn from tight. The unit is quite nice looking and easy to install, so I'm disappointed in the quality (different lot numbers, so even more troubling). The glass shades are very hard to install because the ring cannot be easily gripped because it's so far up inside the shade. Progress does make a clever "nut driver" that slips over the socket and tightens the nut. A must have. You can purchase through Progress or perhaps ask Progress CS to send you on for free. I personally think one should be in every box.
