No more pain

Provides compression and support exactly where I need it! I developed pain in my right achilles tendon from (I believe) constantly holding the break pedal down on the steep hilly streets in my kids’ (very long) school car line over the years. Using my left foot to help hold the pedal down has helped some but some days the pain is really bad. I bought this brace and slept with it one night and woke up with NO pain. I occasionally still feel a tightness in the tendon so I wear this for a few hours during the day and it goes away.

Velcro issue

Worked good at first, but with daily use the velcro started getting weaker and it would loosen up. Spending more time now reattaching it. Using binder clips now to keep it tight

Great product

Not for tendenitis

I found out I have Achilles tendinitis and it does not really support that.

Amazing support!

I had Achilles tendinitis about 1 1/2 years ago. As an aging runner, I wanted support so I wouldn’t feel any discomfort. As soon as I got this in the mail I tried it on, I melted…. So comfortable, fits under all my running shoes and you can instantly feel the support!!

It works but....

I've been suffering with achilles tendonitis for a few months. It's really disrupting my workout. I ordered this Pro-tec thing and it worked. It reduces the pain that I feel in my ankle and heel. I'm grateful for that. However, if I walk all day in it I can get a blister in the back of my ankle. Also the foot strap can slide off and end up in the back of your shoe, making for an uncomfortable experience. I ordered a different brand with no foot strap in hopes this will work better.

Overall great product needs longer ankle strap

This is exactly what I needed and the only brace that helps. The padding is what really adds that protection I need. The only reason why I gave it 3 stars is because the straps are so small. I bought an extra large but I have very thick ankles. I can barely get it around my ankle. When I do it's so tight it cuts off my circulation. Make the strap longer that goes around the ankle, people can cut it to fit if it's to long. If the strap around the ankle was much longer to fit larger thicker ankles I'd give this 5 stars.

Use for weak Achilles tendon

Not sure if they work until I don't rupture my Achilles tendon again! But I wear them every time I play.

Not very helpful

I had achillies tendon pain had tried all types of heels/heel-cups without much success. ProTec Support did not help much. Its easy to wear & fitted well.

The item came as descriped and did what it said, My issue wasnt strictly Achillies but up into my calf too but this support was beneficial. Built well enough.
