Great boat

This recoil 2 boats are awesome. We wanted a grab and go single battery boat and these do not disappoint. They handle well, easy to operate, and can even run up to 4s lipo stock. I’ve found these boats are also easily upgradable with an aftermarket prop to gain a boost in speed. Overall great amount of fun for the value.

NOT HAPPY POSSIBLY A USED ITEM

THE BOX THE BOAT CAME WAS RESEALED WITH TAPE OVER TAPE . THE VERY EXPENSIVE BATTERY THAT COMES WITH A SEAL ON IT WAS CUT I'M THINKING I RECEIVED A RETURNED OR POSSIBLY A USED ITEM THIS IS A BIRTHDAY PRESENT FOR A 11 YEAR OLD GRANDSON I CANNOT TAKE THE CHANCE OF RETURNING IT AND NOT HAVING A PRESENT FOR HIM ON HIS BIRTHDAY I PRAY THAT IT WORKS I SHOULD AT LEAST RECEIVE A BRAND NEW BATTERY IN A SEALED BOX AND I WILL RETURN THIS ONE

The motor wouldn't run after two sessions. Poor quality.

The motor wouldn't start after running the boat only twice. Looked like the ESC is permanently damaged. The horizon hobby customer service is not being responsive at all and there is no stock of the ESC used in this boat. Wouldn't recommend.

Very fast but the Battery only last for about 4 mins

This boat is badass. It is fast as hell and turns on a dime. Can't flip the boat but if you do it has a button you push to flip the boat back over. Here are some things i wished was better and important to keep in mind. 1. the run time is only 4 mins before it stops running. 2. there's nothing on the remote to let you know when the battery is getting low, so if you don't put a stop watch on it for 4 mins you will be stuck with no way of getting your boat back in. 3. The screws to take the top off can be a pain to remove and tighten. 4. when putting the battery in the boat they only have one velcro strap to hold the battery, I would suggest putting another one in to help hold the battery otherwise if the battery moves it could hit your motor which will cause damage to battery and motor. Important things to do after using the boat and that is very important to grease the shift for the propeller otherwise will cause issues. Just know this is not a toy theres alot of maintenance to do . I would suggest to do your homework and check out youtube videos on this before buying. Also to really enjoy running the boat buy atleast 4 extra batteries because you will need them. They arent cheap either, runs $60 a battery but will be worth it if you can afford it. Overall alot of fun and again very fast on water. I give 4 stars because of the issues I mentioned
