It’s Hard For Me To Advise The Actual Fit!

It’s extremely hard for me to give someone the actual specifics of the fit of these shoes! I’ve had about 10 pairs or so of these and they fit my feet very well. I’m flat footed and I don’t know how much support these actually give someone else. These are very similar to the original Vans that most Gen-Xers are familiar with. They are made very similar and they don’t last very long! Especially if you wear these one a daily basis. I like the way they fit and they generally get me through the summer season. It’s not like buying a pair of $300 sneakers or anything like that. They are just comfortable and they fit well and are easily removed and put on without untying them. These are the older ones and are very hard to find. I either wear these in the summer or my very expensive DSquared “Jesus on the Beach” sandals that were like $500. I was lucky enough to get the last pair I could find. So I’ve taken very good care of them as well. They have absolutely no support and even make my flat feet hurt after wearing them for long periods of time. In the winter I wear mostly boots. I have a couple of pairs of expensive Ralph Lauren boots that are now discontinued that I have had for a few years. If taken care of, they will last for a long time. Two are leather and the other pair are suede. I also have a very nice pair of Red Wing Boots that I’ve had for almost 20yrs. They have been resoled once, they look very much in style still and they are waterproof to about 9 inches deep! They are made extremely well and they we’re about $400 in 1995 or so. They are very heavy and I don’t wear them that often unless it’s raining. I had them cleaned up really nicely a few yrs back and I will have them forever as my mother bought these for me one Christmas. The biggest mistake you can make with these sneakers is to wash them in a washing machine. They will come apart. So if you’re going to get them dirty or if you’re picky about keeping them bright white, then I would recommend buying something else. If you’re like me and you rarely get your shoes dirty and small spots are not a problem, then go for it! I actually like them to look a little worn anyway, and not like I just took them out of the box. After about the first month, like Vans , these start to pucker where your foot bends. The souls are a gum rubber like Vans and they are very similar in fit. I use to go through a pair of Vans in the early 80s about every two months. I was a skater and started wearing the original High Top Vans with the White stripe on the side. They lasted longer and I use to order them from a surf shop in VA Beach when I lived in Norfolk VA. So I’ve had some pretty wild ones in my youth. Overall, these are a nice fitting summer shoe for a good price. I prefer the leather strings to the white laces that also come with the shoes. It gives them a better look in my opinion.

Great value and style

I use these pair of shoes mainly with jeans. I like the look and the style of the shoe. It’s great value. It does not have great support for all the walking but for occasional activities it’s just right. I must warn you to be careful and raining conditions as it’s not weatherproof. I love polo brand so the shoes fit right into my wardrobe.

Got this for a friend who loves sports, particularly football and running. He loves to watch sports as much as he loves to play. Even though I bought this for him a few years ago, he is still using it. He mostly loves it because the shoe is soo comfortable

Horrible comfort

I was not satisfied with this purchase. It was comfortable for a month, after which the sole just tore apart and toe region and the front foot was just very uncomfortable. Had to buy multiple supports to make this shoe last 6 months after which it was destroyed completely. I am pretty active guy but obviously I bought these for casual wear only, it gets really uncomfortable after a few weeks. Not worth it.

Good product

It took them 3 times to get it right. 1st one had a stain on them then 2nd pair the sole was very loose i could pull out then back in. 3rd pair was great and still wearing now. Overall great product

Nice! Came with optional second pair of laces.

There exactly what I wanted and not expressive. They come with tough leather laces but also an extra pair of soft white laces. Both are good though the leather ones are kinda clunky after tying them. They look great.
