nice subtle scent

Great for baking pans, pots, and heavily soiled or greasy dishes

I was really excited to try this, and have found it works great as a complement to my regular dish washing systems. I have a small countertop dishwasher that I use for regular dishes, then I have to wash all pots and pans by hand in my small sink, which is always a trip, and I'd usually end up leaving them for the next day. So what I've been doing now is giving any pans a good spray-down with this dish spray and leaving it to soak while I load up my dishwasher with the dishes. By the time I'm done, the spray has had a chance to soften and break down the mess on the pans, making them much, MUCH easier to then wash. It's been working out great and making it so I can just deal with the pans right away and not put it off. I would not recommend trying to use this spray for everyday eating dishes. It works best for pots, pans, and heavily soiled or greasy dishes. It is very thick and very sudsy. Bottom line: Give it a try! It's been working great for me as another tool at my disposal. Don't expect it to replace your everyday dish soap and sponge or dishwasher, but use it's for a more targeted approach.

Spray On Dishwashing Soap. It’s a Novel Idea, But Not Practical for Me

I am just okay with this system. It’s a novel idea, however, it’s not a practical path for me. What I received were three (3) (16) fluid ounce bottles of 7th Generation foaming dish spray. Also included was a foaming action sprayer. The idea here is to spray each item being washed using the spray bottle. If I had a dish and a fork, I could see there being an advantage from my traditional method, which is to fill, to some degree, a basin with water and squeezing in a tad of liquid dishwashing soap. Then washing away. Here this system is that I spray on foam, for each item, then wash, then rinse. It’s interesting, but we are a family that makes a lot of dishes, and the most efficient way, generally, is to fill up that basin with warm soapy water and wash away. This does generate some foam, but not all that much. A video reviewer suggested there was SLS in this, there is no SLS on my bottle’s formulation. Value It’s on the premium priced size. Country of origin “Assembled” in the USA, with the use of a lot of what sounds to be chemicals, which warn to flush eyes if get in See your medical provider if there are concerns for using this. I hope my thoughts added useful information.

Smells Great! Cleaning Action OK.

I love the smell of mandarin orange! This stuff smells just like it. It has a strong orange scent that isn't overpowering to the point that it's noxious. I sprayed this on a 9x13 Pyrex tray that I cooked in last night. It had some baked-on cheese, which was a great test for this foaming dish spray. It does foam nicely! I let it sit for about 30 seconds before wiping it with a sponge. Did the cheese come right off? Nope... it didn't. But I feel it did come off a little easier than when I used Dawn dish soap. If you're looking for a 100% biodegradable dish soap that is safe for your family, this is it. I knocked a star off because it's not much better than standard dish soap. But it does smell amazing, so that's why I kept it at 4 stars, and didn't bump it down to 3. If you don't like the smell of oranges, pass on this dish soap. I happen to love the smell. So fresh!

LOVE this spray - perfect for cleaning granite countertops with no streaks!

Seventh Generation Foaming Dish Spray, Mandarin Orange, 3 Refills and 1 Sprayhead I use a lot of Seventh Generation products and this is one of my favorites. The scent does not bother me, but it does have a bold citrus fragrance (natural, not artificial fragrance). I am usually very sensitive to fragrances and can only tolerate those by essential oils and the like - this spray is pleasant and enjoyable for me. It makes everything smell so clean! I have been using another dish detergent to clean my granite counter tops that doesn't have the clean ingredients like Seventh Generation but thanks to this product, I am switching! With this, I can spray it on the granite, use a wet cloth to wipe it down well (suds up nicely) and then another cloth to dry. My 13 year old granite countertops come out shiny, clean, and NO STREAKS! I've been using it like this everyday, multiple times a day for 2 weeks and not a single issue. It also works great for cleaning my glass top range. I use Seventh Generation regular dish soap and did not have the same results with it. So, there is something about the makeup of this dish spray that works really well for my purposes. It's also very convenient for washing certain dishes, and I use less soap by using the spray for things like muffin tins, but I don't find it entirely necessary. The value point for me is in using it as a clean ingredient option for dirty appliances and countertops without the streaks.

Loaded with harmful ingredients

Not only did this irritate hands and lungs it didn’t do anything special except leave a film. I prefer simple plain water or baking soda. No idea why I didn’t do my research before purchasing this product. Check out that list of harmful ingredients. Sticking with my Dr Bronners.

Safe cleaning

I love brands like seventh generation that are great for households with children! This spray soap works well and I love that the set came with a sprayer and three refillable bottles.

Nice product with a nice smell!

I really enjoy this soap! Being able to spray this directly onto pots and pans is really convenient for letting it sit and "soak" in the soap and it does a good job of helping lift off anything that is stuck on. I also really like this for cleaning out my sink after doing dishes and the fresh mandarin scent is really pleasant. It leaves everything looking and feeling clean. My only complaint is that I seem to be going through it faster than a typical dish soap, but that might just be because I'm unsure how much product to use and tend to use a lot just to be sure. Overall a fun idea and good for dishes and some other cleaning too.
