Save money and buy this product

Why spend a small fortune on the other product when you can customize your fit for your particular filter, still have enough left for at least three more for a micro fraction of the cost of the more expensive product. Put this filter in last night and today my aquarium is clean as a whistle!

Filters that can save you money.

I love the texture and composition of these filter mars. They were easy to cut down to size for my Aqueon external filter units. They are a fraction of the cost of the regular branded equivalent filters. A very worthwhile investment.

amazing product for when in a pinch

literally saved my fishes life when my mini pond crashed due to post antibiotics ammonia spike. i own fancy butterfly tailed goldfish and theyre extremely fragile and sensitive to water inequalities. this product is a staple to hobbyists! highly recommended. it does however leave sandy particles if ya dont wash it first!

Break the habit of using pre filled filters in a box!

Although I rinsed it, I got absolutely no charcoal or blackish water from it. Easy to use without getting dirty, filters really well, just cut it to size. I was using the filters you guy in a box but they contain so little charcoal and filter medium that they clog up or become ineffective way to soon. So break the box habit and buy this and some filter medium to cut to size. Every tank is different dependong on how many fish yo have and how much yo feed them, but my filtr system lasts a good 3-4 weeks, soemtimes longer.

WOW! i was paying the same amount if not more, for a TINY pack of precut material to fit my tank's ammonia filter. With this sheet, i probably have a couple years worth of filter changes. Just cut to size, rinse under tap water, and drop into the slot in your filter. Could not be EASIER!!!

Pee free!

Seems to take the ammonia out of the water. No one has died and they are all happy. Easy to manage and cut to size. No swimming in pee! Yay!

PLEASE DO NOT BUY!! Better off looking at other options or products.

I didn’t really think of anything when I read the negative reviews. But a few moments after I had put this sponge in my filter, I started noticing a bunch of fine particles floating around my tank. And then the ground and plants started getting covered by this white stuff - the particles that were floating around in the water column. I had even made sure to thoroughly rinse the sponge before using it because I had read some of the reviews mentioning the same problem. I immediately took out the sponge and did a water change because I was afraid it was going to harm my fish or shrimp. I would highly recommend you look for other ammonia-removing products or solutions. I will be looking into a refund right away and hope that my fish and shrimp will be okay.

Great to replace expensive Oreck charcoal filters.

Bought this after watching a Youtube of someone describing how to use this material for my Oreck Air Purifiers instead of paying outrageous prices for Oreck charcoal filters. You just cut this material down to the size to fit your unit, install, snap the holder closed and you save a fortune.

Nitrate remover

I will not know as it can take up to a month for results to see if my tank gets better and the nitrates drop. It is now been 3 months July 2022 and it has not dropped my nitrates at all. Will not purchase this product again Thank you
