Handles are great, build is horrid

There is a paper-thin layer of metal attaching the spigot screw threads to the underside lip that holds the top fastener in place. As you tighten it simply tears the bottom surface of the fastener apart from the threads. It needs like .01 cents worth of metal to make sure it never happens again... I also had to use 2x gaskets to get any kind of seal. It worked great for a whole month, then the metal between the thread and ring just peeled apart. Now I have the top screw-on ring completely fallen off the rest of the Y. I had to go back to Lowes and just bought a solid brass one, hoping that thread casing is thicker, but it all comes down to that one silly piece. If it fails, the construction of the rest doesn't matter.

Made well, great buy

Arrived fast, exactly as described, I purchased this as an option so I can use 2 slip and slides and a splash pad at the same time ( if We want/need to. You can hook up several hoses at same time and control individually.seem to be made well

Looks good so far

I haven't had it long enough to give it 5 stars, but if it holds up it could deserve 5. I've used a lot of hose Y shut off valves over the years and this is a very good one. The handles move smoothly and are large enough to be easy to use. In the off position the valves actually shut off water. Imagine that. The entire fitting feels solid. I recommend it.

Fair product for the price.

Past experience with the orbit 4 way manifold, limits its use to one or two seasons when used outside year round in the southern U.S.A., before they start to leak by the ball seats to the stem. They are not repairable.

What I want but may not last very long.

I got it for my expandable water hose. I need to connect it to a sprinkler but it wouldn't be long enough unless the hose is filled with water. This kit allows me expand the hose first before I attach it to the sprinkler. It also makes switching spayer head easier. However, after only a week I saw rust on the rim. It doesn't affect the use for now but not sure how long it will last.

metal versus plastic

I have used this splitter a couple of times since it arrived. So far so good. I also have a plastic 4 way splitter so I can compare the two. I notice the metal hose connectors are damaging the threads on the plastic one (after one season of use) no matter how carefully I try to screw them in. That does not appear to be a problem with this metal one. I need to use this splitter over a full season to assess durability and sturdiness.

Orbit shut off valve

The Orbit dual hose connector/shut off valve is easy to use. The levers are long enough which make opening and closing the water valve so much easier! It is well made and worth spending a little more for this product. Very happy we bought it!

Garbage. Literally.

Leaks out of 2 of the valve stems right out of the package. Junk. Straight to the dump. I don't want my wood in my greenhouse constantly soaked. Good quality control orbit. You take jobs away, and we pay the price a second time with our wallets. Don't buy this built to fail garbage. I won't buy anything from these losers ever again.

Rugged well made great linear design for tidy aesthetic. I have used many manifolds from different manufacturers this one out performs them all even more pricey competitors. I haven’t used them long but they seem very well made..

Don’t waste your time.

Bought 2 of these and no matter what you did it always leaked. Even tried water tape as well as thread lock and still leaked. Find something that is pure brass without any plastic at the connection points.

Pas 100% Étanche

The media could not be loaded. Un des 4 ports de sortie n'est pas étanche. Pas une très grande fuite, mais comme je l'achète neuf je m'attends à une étanchéité total.
