Sturdy but oversized silverware

Knockoff silverware

I have had 2 different sets of Oneida silverware for the last 20 years. After my young children had mistakenly thrown too many pieces in the trash I decided to buy a new set. The first thing I noticed was how lightweight these are compared to the genuine Oneida I currently have. The quality of the set purchased from Amazon had no weight to it, felt like dollar store silverware. I decided to keep it because it’s just being used for daily use, and my kids might end up accidentally throwing pieces away anyways. After a few washes I noticed the pieces started to rust. I saw that this item had 4.5 stars and thousands of reviews so I didn’t bother reading comments, which is very out of the ordinary for me. I wish I had read the comments because it seems a lot of people are having the same issue. I don’t believe this is genuine Oneida. If you’re looking for Oneida for to a reputable retailer.

Stainless silverware set

We added this set to a set we had that had the same pattern. These were heavier weight and feel more high end. We wish the old set were as nice, but we will keep as is.

outstanding flatware

Love the quality and beauty of the Oneida flatware. It's sturdy and I love the design. I ordered two sets and I'm glad I did. They will last a lifetime.

Pretty but small

Pretty and nice design. The handle detail has some tooth to it so it's easy to hold. Lighter and smaller than my other Oneida set (different model). If you're used to the large and weighty set, these feel quite a bit smaller. The large spoon is almost the same size as the small spoon in another line of Oneida.

Match my set but seem used as some tarnishing.

I’ve had my set for 10 years. I was missing a few pieces so ordered these. They match mine but look older - possibly used? - some tarnishing and not as shiny. Overall, there are enough that look good enough to replace my missing ones.

The knives are rusty after one wash

They look very nice, but after one cycle in the dishwasher the knives have gone rusty, sending back for a full refund, very disappointed

Classic, timeless flatware pattern!

This pattern is very hard to find. Excellent condition, arrived in a timely manner and was exactly as described by the seller.

Developed Rust Immediately

I purchased this set to replace pieces I've lost over the years, as I already owned a set in this pattern. I thought they seemed a little lighter/thinner, but didn't think much of it as the pattern really was a perfect match. As recommended in the care tips, I immediately hand-washed and dried the set before using them for the first time, but rust began developing immediately, especially on the knife handles. I will not be keeping this set.
