Not to occidental bag/belt standard

Where to start? First the straps are both on the same side of the knee pad, making them interchangeable but causing the user to kneel on a strap end that is always between the legs. A right strap and a left strap would be better. The foam rubber sweats and is too thin and too un-flexible ; thick molded felt pad under leather would be better. The knee pad is too small. Make them bigger. The straps are made of elastic, making the knee pads fall down when the user is standing, and too tight when the user is kneeling. i had to re-adjust every time I got up. A good single leather strap, with a roller buckle would work wonders. it is obvious the designer of these knee pads has never worked in knee pads. After a couple hours in these pads, I switched to a 1"x6"x 24" foam pad to before again switching to my old, very worn out pair.

Stiff when new and will require a break in period ...

Stiff when new and will require a break in period. The typical leather knee pads with the leather strap hurt my leg and I couldn’t stand them. Found these and noticed that these have dual elastic bands on each knee pad and they have quick snaps for quick removal. I saw a review that said they don’t stay tight. I run into this every now and again and I’ve realized it’s caused when I squat down a certain way and it bumps the strap where you cinch it up tight. I’ll go several days and never have it loosen and then one I may have to tighten it twice. Not a big deal and it’s always my right leg. Worth the money. Another solid product from occidental.

Very comfortable kneepads

I’ve used a lot of different kneepads over the years and these are by far the best ones very comfortable would highly recommend

Gotta love leather

These are a little overpriced in my opinion. If you wear soft pants these will tend to slide. Jeans work fine. They are comfortable when on your knees. Not so much as you walk around.

SO-SO pads ...

These pads are OK. No where near as comfortable as some of the other reviewers said. At least not to me. I need comfortable ones because I have an artificial knee. There are not the ones for me. And they slide down like all the rest.

Very cheaply made!!

I am very disappointed with these knee pads! I really wish I could return them. I thought with the brand name they would be a good pair, but I was sadly mistaken. They constantly slip down off the knee when wearing them and have to be readjusted. The pad is hard and the equivalent of placing a couple of folded cardboards from a box under your knees. Completely over priced and not worth your money.

Knee Pads

These knee pads where meant for my husband, but change was to hard for him, he preferred to stay with his old knee pads which he has been wearing for over 25 years. His knee pads are made of leather and are holding up pretty well but they smell. His lose and my brother- in-law's gain, he loved them, it is exactly what he wanted.
