its a yes for me

the sizing is true to size! I got narrow feet so that's why. i haven't worn them out yet, so I give them 4 stars. i will provide an update once worn.

nice looking boot

I like these boots; they are stiff when you first put them on and a little slick on wet paint (my porch is painted). Mine were a little tight across the ball of my foot, I think I needed a wide fit. I think they will break in with wear though. All and all a nice boot and they do help with weak ankles

Waterproof

Only taken on1 hike so far but we did have to cross several low water crossings and they are definitely waterproof. Will update review if anything changes.

Great boot, great price

I ordered this boot in both a 6.5 and 7 (I usually wear a 6.5 sneaker) figuring that with thick wool socks I would need the 7. Actually, both the shoes fit very well and were really comfortable. So much so, that I was tempted to keep both pairs just in case my feet swelled or one pair got wet. But, in the end I decided to send back the size 7. The boots are really cute and appear well made. I love the fact that the insoles slide out so you can slip in your own orthotics. I also love how light weight they are. I have a back injury which resulted in nerve damage on my right side and painful neuropathy in my leg and foot. I actually had to get rid of my last hiking boots because they were just too heavy. I began having a hard time walking in them, my foot was dragging, I kept tripping and the increase in pain was so bad that I was cutting my walks short. These boots feel like a feather by comparison. In fact, they are about the same weight as my sneakers. Of, course being light weight probably means that they are not the best choice if you are hiking the Appalachia Trail. The fact that they are also waterproof is just icing on the cake. I looked at other light weight hiking boots and they were twice the price. I don't think you could find a better looking, better made, more comfortable boot for this low price.

Comfortable

I was skeptical of buying any hiking boots because I have never had good luck in the past and even most tennis shoes are not very comfortable IMO. I have a wide foot and my toes are always "smushed" together. But, I needed something to go hiking in so I decided to try these. I was expecting the worst, especially since they were brand new and not broken in yet but they were a pleasant surprise. They look nice, have plenty of room in the toe and didn't give me any blisters after a 4 mile hike in rugged terrain. (Of course, wearing thick socks helps, but these still worked better than expected). I am very happy with them. They look cute and are not super heavy like other boots I've looked at. I usually wear a size 9 and that is what I ordered. They were a bit on the large size but I think they would have been uncomfortable if I had ordered any smaller. I like that they are roomy enough to wear thick socks with once the weather gets colder.

Pretty design. Warm and good cushion

Pretty design. Warm and good cushion. Size fit as mine without size up for socks. Easy on and off. Good for any kind of trails or walk. good priced compared than another brand for the higher price. No tired feet after several hours walk the trail. Perfect in the Winter.
