Long thick and curly

My entire life I've been searching for the perfect shampoo and conditioner for my hair. I have long, thick and curly hair. Matted knots are a constant part of my life. No matter what I do or how much I brush my hair it just turns into knots. The perfect conditioner to me was the conditioner you would get in hair dye boxes and I've always been looking for that in a bottle. While this doesn't untangle knots as easily as the dye conditioner, it prevents them. I don't know what it is about this shampoo and conditioner, but it untangles my hair easily and the next day when I brush my hair there are virtually no knots. I've gone as much as 3 days without brushing. Keeping my hair up in a bun which is murder on my hair during sleep but I have found that if I get any knots they are barely there. This is definitely a duo that I will use for the rest of my days and I have never said that about any other products. This just works for me. The smell has kinda a weird scent in it. Sometimes when I smell it I like it but others it gets me kinda queasy. I don't know how to describe it. This shampoo and conditioner is kind of expensive as well. I would have never bought this if I didn't get a sample of it. I usually don't pay this much for hair products but it's well worth it. One thing I have noticed is I have flakes in my hair since using this. I am very careful about washing it all out of my hair and my shower has amazing water pressure. But it's just a little bit not a big deal. This is by no means a miracle product I'm not gonna say it's the answer but it is the best I have ever put in my hair. And it's working for me better than any other out there. The shampoo is special too though. Usually when I use any shampoo, and I've used many many different kinds that have been more expensive than this, but usually after rinsing out shampoo my hair feels like straw in the water and I can't run my fingers through it. Which is pretty normal with all shampoo that's why we have conditioner. But with this shampoo my hair feels like it could have been conditioner because I can run my fingers through it with no snag. The lather is rich and it feels silky almost like shaving cream. I could probably take a shower with just the shampoo and be able to comb my hair... I haven't been brave enough to try but it feels amazing. I encourage others to try this if you have the money. It's made my routine much easier and before I would dread taking a shower because I knew the brushing was gonna hurt. Now showering is a normal task because this product leaves a long lasting effect on my hair. If I had to choose between the conditioner and shampoo I would probably pick the shampoo which is weird to say. Thank you.

Not the same scent I remember

Just received the conditioner today. I opened it to smell and found that it did not smell the same as what I thought the smell was from when I was a cosmetologist in the late 1980s. I rubbed some on my hand and it has a very good moisturizing feel. Can't wait to see if it works on my hair like I remember it, but sad that the smell did not trigger memories the original white bottle. I thought it used to have an almond scent to it. Have not bought Nexxus products in a couple of decades because I could not find them so I gave up looking and than thought as long as I was looking on Amazon for something why not see if Amazon has it. Glad to have found sad that the smell is not as my memories had it. Update: used it and was very disappointed. I returned it right away the same day I tried it. The smell was such a strong smell when it hit my hair and than changed to s smell like melting rubber. It took forever to rinse the product out and still felt sticky and bad smell. Did some researce and found that Nexxus was sold to a different company. No wonder it is not top notch product like it used to be, also noticed it contains ingredients that are not original to the the science and nature based original product that I was so proud to sell to my clients and myself in the 80's. Just got the shampoo I ordered also and that will be getting returned also.

I love nexxus, but this particular formula while it smells AMAZING, left my hair very heavy will an oily feel

Love this Product, not enough

Love this conditioner. Smells amazing and is very softening on my hair. I do however wish the volume of the bottle was a little bigger as compared to the price.

***Actualizacion, ya estuve usando este producto por 4 meses, y puedo decir con toda la seguridad del mundo que no es bueno, no te deja el cabello suve, no te ayuda a desenrredarlo, te lo deja seco, con estetatica, me deja mi cabello seco y no manejable, voy con mi estilista a que me retoque el cabello y me dijo lo mismo, que no se miraba bien mi cabello, me pregunto por los productos, y el unico producto que uso que no compre en la estetica es este acondicionador, me dijo que el de Shea M es mucho mejor que este, lo compre y se solucionaron todos los problemas que estaba teniendo, no lo compren, no hagan lo mismo que yo hice, inviertan su dinero en un acondicionar bueno como el de Shea moisture.

Great for damaged hair

After a long stay in hospital my hair was like frizzy straw. After trying lots of different products and several trips to my hairdresser nothing had changed. I looked like the Scarecrow on a bad hair day. Then I tried this along with Nexuss shampoo and there was almost instant improvement. Now although still very thin my hair is much softer and easy to manage. My hairdresser couldn't believe the difference after just 3 weeks and on her advice I bring my Nexuss shampoo and conditioner with me when I get my hair trimmed.

It causes heavy hair fall

This conditioner causes heavy hair fall (noticeably thinner hair..), thick greasy residue all over scalp/lengths, and skin irritation. It made my hair very weak to the point where just brushing it dry causes pieces of hair to snap..

Leaves my roots visibly greasy

I really wanted to love this conditioner, but it's too heavy for my greying wavy hair. Leaves my roots greasy and thick feeling. Even with two additional rinses in the shower it fails to come out. Not the product for me; but it does smell nice.

Best repair ever

To the people said it left their roots greasy, put the product on the ends of your hair and rinse properly. I found this made my blonde look healthier and feel silky!
