My Dogs Love Them!!
Let me preface this by saying that my dog, Samwise Gamgee, is a young punk. Yes, he is in fact a real jerk. He has destroyed more linens than I can count with his chewing. The toughest fabric dog toys made will last less than 10 minutes in his mouth. I bought one of these Nerf three ring tugs years ago for my other dog who is much more civilized. She did chew through the blue ring eventually. But, it took her the better part of a year. The yellow and orange rings are still intact. So, I searched for the same toy for Samwise, hoping it would keep him from destroying other things in my house. It worked!! He loves this thing. He goes into a zen like trance as he blissfully chews away. My other dog, Lindy, was envious. So, I bought her one, too. Life was good. However, Samwise quickly zeroed in on the vulnerability of the blue ring. He worked on it incessantly like a beaver cutting down trees. I started noticing that Samwise was in fact eating little pieces of blue plastic that was evidenced in his poo. As my photo shows, Samwise has nearly gnawed the blue ring all the way through. While Lindy's tug has minimal damage. I feel that the blue ring is less durable that the others. I still like the toy and feel that it is a good value. There is a trade off in durability with the fact that it is soft enough not to break a dog's teeth But, I would recommend supervising aggressive chewers.

Not as tough as I thought it would be
My dogs play rough. Almost every fluffy toy last about an hour or toy and then is no more. So I found this and thought it would be a great fit for my rough housers. I will say, it lasted longer than the fluffy toys, but not by much. The middle ring broke off of one of the end rings, which wasn’t the worst thing, now each dog had a ring to play with. All was fine until it started ripping apart into pieces and then my dogs at it. I had rainbow poop for weeks! My robovac also had a hay day picking up the pieces. All in all, it is a tough toy, but it’s not made for really aggressive chewers.

Not for a smaller dog
The toy is great but definitely for a big dog our dog was to small , how ever I do not think it said made for large or small dogs if it did I am sorry, really a good toy

The best toy!
Our dog’s favorite toy ever! All day everyday and it last forever! We got a new one bc my husband ran over with the mower so the rings separated but that’s expected. We have a German Shepard so he can really chew on these and they don’t break

She already destroyed it. Thought the quality would be better. Unfortunately it wasn't strong enough.
