Sturdy, shiny

I was hoping for something a tad bigger, but this is a nice little kitchen/bar tool. It’s very shiny, easy to clean, and looks good.

Handy weeding tool

I have used this a lot the last couple weeks while getting my flower beds cleaned up. I had seen other reviews that is wasn’t durable but that has not been my experience. It’s made weeding much easier. It hasn’t bent or broken for me. I do pay attention to the amount of force I might be putting on the tool itself while attempting to uproot a really dug in weed. Overall very pleased as it has been quite handy and sped up the weeding process.

No Rust So Far | Very Useful

Excellent for straining pickled food and sides from jars for sandwiches, etc. Cleans easily and to my surprise has not yet rusted, having been in contact with highly acidic food.

Great for Spherifying and Reverse Spherification

The Mercer Culinary Spherification Spoon worked perfectly when our family made some reverse spherification mango spheres. The spoon is well made with holes that allow effective drainage of the sodium alginate and rinsing water. The spoon is easy to wash and is about the size of a standard Chinese ceramic soup spoon for easy storage. Overall good value if you're interested in making molecular gastronomy spherification projects.

Almost

I bought this spoon to use as an all purpose strainer for capers, relishes, chutneys etc. The bowl has a good capacity (larger than a typical olive spoon), but the handle is not comfortable. It is not solid but v-shaped, and cuts into the hand while using. I would also prefer it to be longer to better reach the bottom of a tall jar. It is a nice quality stainless, and the bowl does a excellent job of straining and is easy to wash.

7" Long "slotted" spoon

For everyone who thinks this thing is "tiny," you must suffer from gigantism. It's freaking 7 inches long. Maybe you have a 7" long thumb if you're an orangutan. I find this product is fantastic! I have received nothing but compliments when I put it out to serve olives and the like. I have bought it for friends and admirers; plus it makes a perfect gift for foodies and gourmands.

nice but expensive

nice spoon, lots of holes, nicely machined, but metal is thin and the spoon is very small in size. also the cost is too high for the quality.

Cuchara con agujeros de calidad normal

Hay kits que por un poco más te viene la cuchara para hacer las esferificaciones. La cuchara por el precio que tiene...justa, un tanto. En la parte baja de la cuchara, pero por debajo, tienen un pelín de rebaba en los agujeros, podían haberlo pulido un pelín mejor. Si es para iniciaros en el mundo de la cocina moleculas y queréis hacervuestras primeras esferificaciones y fliparos como si fuérais Ferrán Adriá. No es mala compra. Pero a la larga si queréis hacer esferificaciones de verdad deberéis planetaros buscar una cuchara un poco más pulida.

Este tipo de cucharas esta diseñada especialmente para las especificaciones pero también puede servir para sacar cosas delicadas de cualquier medio liquido caliente (huevos escalfados por ejemplo). El precio podría ser bastante inferior, pero lo necesitaba con urgencia y por eso no le doy las 5 estrellas. De todos modos es un producto de gran calidad
