Beautiful Thinning Shears

Absolutely beautiful thinning shears. As someone who is training to become a professional groomer, these are fantastic for the price. While i only got the today, and trimmed up my Spaniel Mix's feet (she was dirty so that shows how sharp they were) and they cut the hair like it was butter. I used these to blend in the sharp cuts from the straights, that I also got today, and they work wonderfully. I highly recommend. I do however wish they came in colors other than rainbow but they let me show off my little bit flare as well :)

Four years and counting.

Better late than never! I have had this set for FOUR years now! I am a full-time 40+ hour a week groomer. 8-10 dogs a day! Very sharp and hold a great edge. I absolutely love this set. I have had them sharpened twice. I am happy this review suggestion popped up so I can order another set.

Great for new groomers

These are great for someone starting out. I used them every day for 6 months before I had to get them sharpened. I actually still have them as back up incase my higher quality scissors are kicked off the table or if my coworker needs to borrow them. If you are just starting to groom this is a great deal. Once you start getting better and are less worried that you are going to drop your scissors upgrade.

It works fine. I have nothing to compare to, as this is the first one I buy and use. It is extremely sharp. Since I am a novice, both times I have used it, I have little nicks from the usage. I am more concerned about my dog no getting cut ( he doesn't stay still for anything) than me. I would recommend it.

Great buy!

So I received my MGT 5200 6.5" curved shears today, and I have to say that these are some of my favorites to use. They come sharp, cut smoothly and quietly, and they are perfect for use on smaller feet, faces, etc. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a dependable shear!

we have gone through a lot of shears normally they last a few groomings before they start to dull especially at the tip

our dog is 14 years old and we groom him every 2 weeks, we have gone through a lot of shears normally they last a few groomings before they start to dull especially at the tip, these shears cut today just like the did the first time we used them and they do a great job

Very sharp!!

I use it to get the tangles out of my dogs hair. It works great as I don’t have to chop out a whole section of hair that I can’t get the snarls out of with a comb.

Great scissors

Really a nice pair of scissors, I no longer groom dogs but wanted a pair of nice scissors for the once a month I groom our poodle. I remember my favorite pair of scissors cost over $200.00 when I was grooming for a living. These have a good balance to them and have a nice feel. Best choice for the price and the quality is all there.
