It's Okay...Just Okay

I love slip leads for the rescue work that I do. I usually use Mendota leads (which I love), but decided to order a less expensive spare to keep in my new car for emergencies. This leash is just okay, it's not bad for the money. I like the color and it seems like it would be pretty durable. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't "slip" easily at all. The ring that is suppose to slide is just a little bit too small to easily loosen and tighten on the leash. After it tightens, it doesn't relax well on its own. Good for emergencies and that's about it in my opinion. I would not use it regularly.

Not the same product

We bought a bunch of these leads for our dog resort 2 years ago. Martha has really cheapened them. They are the same thickness, but this purchase the leads are not nearly as sturdy.

Easy to use and nice looking

This leash is easy to adjust and get on and off my dog. I'm not a fan of harnesses and this leash adjusts easily and is nice looking

Works great! My favorite slip lead.

I’ve had quite a few slip leads and this has been my favorite so far. The lock is easy enough to move but also stays in place (two features which are hard to find together), the rope doesn’t hurt my hands, and the length is great. It’s a nice color, too. I keep this in my car for when I forget a leash for my dogs or for rescue, and it’s come in handy many times. I definitely recommend it.

Not coral as listed

Picture shows and listing calls this coral, but it is RED. Even the packaging says red on it. Quality seems okay, but color is wrong and that's the only reason I purchased.

A Great Slip Lead For Smaller Dogs

I have a mini Dach. It's been great for training her and for walks especially once she learned how to 'heel' and quit choking herself. Fast learner. I also have a Blue Heeler (immovable object, unstoppable force). She has a thicker slip lead. She is a very fast learner too.

Best Leash

I love this leash for my pup! It is a great leash for training and a great leash in general. The leash is thick enough not to choke my puppy and it is able to be tightened or loosened easily. It holds its spot really well.

This leash is WAY too narrow and cuts off the ...

This leash is WAY too narrow and cuts off the breathing and can cut into the skin (which it actually did on my dog Bentley). Furthermore, the sliding stop which is supposed to hold the slip lead from enlarging and falling off is way too loose. What the heck does Martha Stewart know about dogs?? Insider trading she knows; dogs, not so much.

Not recommended

Disliked this lead and asked for refund: very slippery nylon rope. Also the little mechanism that keeps the lead from slipping did not work, and after very little use, it fell off.
