Excellent job yet again Marmot

Perfect for chilly weather, even damp, down to 20 degrees. Anything lower, consider this your liner and wear something over it or another glove completely. These are very comfortable, stretchy in the right way, and I wear them almost every day since I got them this season. So far, the only downfall, which has actually been pretty interesting is that the shiny part of the gloves or the touchscreen compatible part, rubs a black dye off onto whatever I touch (my face and no one tells me I have black smudges) and if I wear the gloves for too long and get damp or sweat-I have black smudges all over my hands when I remove gloves. Maybe they need to be washed prior to use? IDK-If anyone has tips, let me know.

Warm but not super durable

I live in Downeast Maine, and these are quite warm. I'm surprised that my hands don't get cold with them when I am out with my dog in 20° weather. Really snowproof, too. Someone else indicated they are good liners if it's extremely cold, and I would agree with that. I would have given them 5 stars but where they attached to each other is coming apart now, and I'm not sure I will be able to fix that.

Not very warm but great

If you’re looking for something very warm for rigid winter, go with Oakley Winter Factory gloves. I like this pair because they’re lightweight and the touchscreen works seamlessly. They’re definitely not winter gloves.

Not warm

They look great! And they fit fantastic! True to size. BUT was out in 50F climate and my hands still were cold. My hands and feet are always cold.. I imagine this varies from person to person. Just use discretion.

Great but run very small

I normally wear XS or S for gloves, have very small hands and fingers, but I had to buy M in these for comfort.

I had an older pair and lost them. Checked on Amaxon and they carried this glove. So happy as these are the best gloves.

Wirklich angenehm zu tragen aber nicht sehr wärmend

Ich bin häufig mit dem Fernglas zur Vogel- und Tierbeobachtung unterwegs und bekomme dabei selbst bei noch nicht so frostigen Temperaturen ganz schnell kalte Hände. Viele Handschuhe habe ich schon gekauft, aber wirklich warm genug war bislang leider keiner, und viele haben die Bedienung und das sichere Halten des Fernglases noch zusätzlich stark erschwert. Diese Handschuhe von Marmot sind leider auch nur mäßig warm (bei frühherbstlichem Wetter), aber wenn ich sie sehr rechtzeitig anziehe, also zu dem Zeitpunkt wenn ich an den Händen gerade mal so merke, dass es langsam etwas kühler wird, dann halten sie die Temperatur noch vergleichsweise lange auf einem angenehmen Niveau. Zu spät angezogen schaffen sie es aber nicht, die Finger wieder aufzuwärmen. Was allerdings ganz toll ist bei diesen Handschuhen ist die bleibende Beweglichkeit der Finger, das sehr stretchige Material engt überhaupt nicht ein und man könnte glatt vergessen, dass man Handschuhe trägt. Die etwas schwache Wärmeleistung gleiche ich nun durch Liner-Handschuhe aus, dank des Stretch-Materials passen die auch problemlos und ohne Einengen darunter. Wegen dem wirklich angenehmen Tragekomfort habe ich mir noch ein Paar zum Wechseln dazu gekauft, auch wenn ich langfristig lieber eine Lösung ohne Liner-Handschuhe hätte. Ich werde also weiter suchen bis ich die optimalen Handschuhe finde, bis dahin kann ich mit dem Kompromiss aber ganz gut leben.
