Good screwdriver

A good screwdriver set it comes in a nice case that can be wiped down clean

Excellent screwdrivers, cheap non-inductive voltage tester

Insulated tools are a must if you'll be working on live electrical circuits, and the screwdrivers in this set are just as good as the pricey name-brand ones. However, the kit's bundled voltage tester is mediocre at best and not something that I would choose to depend upon. First, the good news: the screwdrivers are of high-quality, and I can't find anything to fault about them. The tips are magnetic, well-formed, and made of sturdy CR-V steel. The handles are large, fully insulated, and display appropriate safety marks. It would have been nice if the set included a Robertson (square) screwdriver, but I'm not taking points off for the omission. Now, the bad news: the bundled voltage tester is basically as cheap as they come. Contrary to the product description/pictures (as of writing this review), the tester is non-inductive, cannot be used for non-contact voltage detection, and is rated for 120-250VAC only. That's rather disappointing, as the tester was advertised as inductive, AC/DC with 12-1000V voltage range, and capable of non-contact testing. The included tester is of the simplest kind, requiring you to touch one end with a bare finger to form an electrical circuit (current-limited by a 1MΩ resistor). The indicator light is very dim and is visible only in dark/shaded conditions. Out in the sun, it's near-impossible to see if the tiny neon lamp is lit. As such, this voltage tester is neither dependable enough nor clear enough for me to trust. Overall, the screwdrivers in this set are great and come with a nice case, but the included voltage tester is practically useless to me. Four stars.

Nice grips on tools for larger hands, case is not really user friendly

Hubby and son are both in construction and both have had some minor mishaps with live electrical current when they thought they had killed it. This insulated electricians screwdriver set just seemed like a great idea for them to have available on the job to prevent shock accidents. The tools are well insulated and they have fairly fat grips that work really well for their larger hands. The ends of the screwdrivers are magnetic and they hold the screws and also pick up screws that get dropped in places where they shouldn't put their hands. The pliers are sturdy, move easily, and grip tightly. Neither of the guys like the case because it's so time consuming to get any of the pliers in and out of the case. The zipper on the case is also difficult to get a hold of when it's fully opened and the zipper seems very lightweight and not great quality. For the price, it's a decent set of insulated tools but the case isn't very "user friendly".

They are good.

I needed those tools becuase I am rebuilding my tool box and the package will have everything you need to screw or to test. To begin with; the material is good; the grib is strong and comfortable; the metalic part is strong for tighten things and in general there are many sizes and length for every use. The bak is nice also if you like to transport the tools with you it has anything you need to deal with wiring or tighten things. I general I can recommend the product; it priced well; made from sturdy material and easy to grib and handle.

Beautiful set, great quality

This is a great set in a nice case. Great for sticking screwdrivers into areas that are electrical. I still recommend that you wear protective gloves, but the insulated handles and shafts will do the job. Very precise tips that are hardened and magnetic. I highly recommend.

Affordable protection

I enjoy this set and find it all useful, with perhaps the knife being an exception. I don't really make use of the knife and find it an odd addition. However, I am sure the professional use might really appreciate it.

Decent set, but a little confused...

So, this set meets the same standards as my fancy-pants other set that I was hoping to expand- but for the same price as the well-established brands I expected an unknown brand to bring something to the table to justify the price. I'm not seeing anything to justify the price on this set- and I find them to be built lighter and more dainty than the "K" brand I usually use for electrical work. The case is a cheapo- so it goes in the trash instantly and I'll put these in a proper tool organizer. I had forgotten what the price was on this set and after the first time I tried them- I was shocked (pun intended) that they were the same price as heavier duty name brand ones. Get the price down, it may represent a value if you want a smaller-style set.
