We have dogs and their nails ripped through the comforter. That’s never happened before.

Did not like the texture

I am disappointed in this Madison Park Cotton Comforter set. I got this because it’s hypoallergenic and I like the ombre design and color of this comforter set. It’s lightweight yet fluffy which is great for fall weather, during the cold season you would need to layer up as this doesn’t help retain much heat. However I really don’t like the material of this set. The pillowcase was okay but the comforter was so scratchy and it did not feel good against my skin. I thought washing it might help soften up the material but it was just the same. The quality is very low and feels cheap. There are small strains of fuzz/lint that pokes out all over the comforter and will come right out if you pull it lightly or rub against it. I love wearing fuzzy fleece pajamas an the fuzz/lint on the comforter will stick onto my pajamas like crazy. I would recommend looking for other comforter set instead of these.

Unique style but not for me

Good: -The comforter was a good fit for my king size bed with a 12 inch mattress. -Machine washable. -Light weight. Bad: -The style was not for me. -The pillow shams are not lined. I ordered the Madison Park Cotton Comforter Set, King/Cal King(104"x90"), Mist, Ombre Indigo. I like that the fabric is cotton, but it does not feel as soft as expected. I like that the pillow shams have overlap ends. I did not expect the comforter to have different hues of blue and white on one side. Overall, the comforter set was sized well and the style is unique, making it easy to switch the look by reversing the comforter. I didn’t like it.

Nice comforter set that needs special care

Madison Park Cotton Comforter Set, Indigo, Queen I like this comforter set. It is soft and luxurious and is a beautiful color. It’s puffy and soft and feels great covering me in bed. It looks nice on my made bed and goes well with a variety of colors or white sheet sets. It does need to be laundered in a large washer, most likely at a laundromat if you’re not in possession of a big front loader. It seems well made and I like it very much.

Good value

This set is good for the money. It's not luxe, but not cheaply made, either. Just a good, middle of the road comforter, gender neutral, aesthetically inoffensive comforter and sham set that's suitable for a guest room. At first, the set seemed hopelessly wrinkled, but after a quick tumble in the dryer, it looked polished and ready and to go. It looks great in our son's room, and when he comes home for winter break, he's going to be thrilled to have it, instead of the floral comforter that was there before. All in all, I'd say this is a good value.

Beautiful colors

I got this for use in a guest bedroom and it fits my needs perfectly. I ran it through a wash and dry cycle and the filling in the comforter did not shift at all. Everything still looks great. The fabric is not a very high thread count and it is definitely not a smooth percale or what I expect from a sateen weave. There is some slight 'bloom' to the surface but it still makes for a soft set of bedding that is very pretty to look at. The sizing is good and I am happy with it.
