Necessity

These 4 track pieces are pretty much a necessity when purchasing a Lionel boxed set (e.g.. the Polar Express) as the packaged track that comes with the set is insufficient for setting up a Christmas display. (the track that comes with the set will make a tight oval around even a small tree).

It is not one solid track. its just three 10''s put together for you. You might as well just buy the four pack for the same price and put it together yourself. Click, click done. Save.

Exactly what was needed

We put our Hogwarts Train around our Christmas tree every year, and needed a few extra pieces to give us a little more space. These 4 pieces were exactly what we needed. Good quality, fast shipping, everything I would expect from Lionel.

Great track layout expansion item

Bought this to expand the basic oval track layout included with a Lionel train set. Gives more options for running train with a layout that is more interesting than a boring oval shape alone. Original Lionel parts are quite expensive but I watched this item on Amazon for awhile until I found it priced at a point I was willing to purchase. I only use true Lionel parts and accessories for my several Lionel trains because I’ve found that they perform better than some other non-Lionel brands that are out there. Recommended.

Cost-effective way to add some flexibility to your train track layout expansion, especially when this is on sale. Includes 2 manually operated Fastrack turnouts (switches) and 2 pieces of curved Fastrack. Can be used to make the inner passing loop (as depicted on the box) or as parts for a different, expanding layout (use your imagination). Recommended but expensive when at regular price. I bought it on sale on Amazon.
