I would suggest stay clear of this brand until they improve their quality. I paid ~$150 for exactly the 33” wide version of this one. Looks beautiful in pics and reality if it doesn’t come broken, breaks during assembly, or soon after. It is made of real wood, but cracks open easily. Mine had one leg visibly cracked concealed within paint, I called Amazon and they refunded ~$30 to keep as is, but soon after we started loading things to store in it, the leg became open to the point that it was not usable anymore. Also, while pushing the small circular wood coverings for the exposed screws (last step in assembly), further cracks were created on other parts of the wood. So yes it is “sturdy“, but also brittle”. Quality problems with wood being used, and hpe the factory remembers that once a piece of wood is broken, you should replace with a new one. Luckily Amazon refunded me in full, But had to go through the pain to also re-package and return. Another type of quality issue (mislabeled parts), In my case assembly took +2hrs (2 times as it would normally be) until I figured two parts were cross labeled. Just if you wonder, I’m very well used to assembling furniture and more. Now, granted, say all of this can happen with any furniture, it can come broken, this one straight from factory. Ok, 2nd thing, this time is a design issue... beautiful Granite top has no way to be attached to wood assembly??? It is literally just designed to be placed on top of the furniture with nothing attached to it in order to secure to furniture. This was to me a real concern since I have a little kid. Also note if you like the granite or marble tops, these are heavy rocks and what do you think will happen if it falls on your finger? Remember in this case, the center of gravity of this furniture is at the top (granite top), so if it’s not secure to the furniture by design, does it increases the concern? (Just remember why big trucks as less stable than cars and flip easier.... center of gravity... why are Tesla cars the safest on a crash test?... Heavy battery makes the center of gravity be at the bottom... and here we are with a lose granite piece at the very top of the furniture). Ok, here is the deal, after returning it, my wife was still in love with the idea of the granite top, since our experience here with Amazon was so terrible (prime item) we ended up buying another from Walmart for about $10 more. Here is where you notice the difference in quality. In this one I was able to secure the granite to the rest of the assembly, also wood never cracked anywhere, not even with the small wood circled screw covers. You could notice the difference in quality, design and craftsmanship of the one we bought vs this one. Not as pretty, but much better quality overall. In case you wonder, we bought a “ sauder 419324” Better Homes & Gardens Kitchen Cart, Black/Granite Top. To close here, this reminds me that Amazon does not owns most of what you buy there, even if prime elegible... so I can tell by this experience, since the inventory does not belong to them, the don’t care or vet the quality of products being sold there. In this case I feel that Walmart has that to their advantage and they may be more carefully at vetting what they choose to offer to their customers because they have to buy it first, and it can cost them a lot if they invest too much on an unreliable brand. They would rather stop selling from unreliable brands and recall/scrap all material than bare the possible impact on the Walmart brand reputation. Here in Amazon, that is the sellers problem, and Amazon Prime just helps the seller with the supply chain portion... literally they just dust it off to the seller. This is one thing that Amazon has to to start protecting their reputation if they want to stay on top of Walmart or any other competitors. Lesson learned from now on, I understand now why Amazon should not necessarily be my only choice when it comes to shopping online.
