Good mat, design flaw

This is a good mat. It is thick and comfortable and provides what I need for my workouts. One flaw I find is that it can only be rolled and secured in one direction, with the top side facing inward in the rolled up position. The straps are Velcro and only work in that one direction. This means that storing it in the same position every day makes it want to roll up on the ends when you are trying to use it. I had to turn it over for the first use to get it to stay on the floor at the ends. Then I had to roll it the opposite way and not use the attached bands to secure it for storage to train it not have the tendency to roll back up. I have had other mats that use elastic looped bands and I prefer them. But, the mat itself is very well made and works well once you get it to lay flat.

Thick enough that my tailbone doesn’t hurt

I have a tailbone that protrudes and hurts when doing floor workouts, so I needed a training mat that was thick and dense enough. This mat is perfect and my tailbone doesn’t hurt. Recommend for the price and quality.

Attached straps start to come off immediately

I bought this Mat because it had straps attached. The only problem was that The attached straps started to come off the first time I used it. I had to reattach Them with double sided tape. Seems to be doing the trick but disappointed. I had a similar one that is wore out but after 10 years straps are still intact..

Great product

It’s perfect for floor workouts. When I don’t feel like wearing shoes, I use it to do cardio.

Doesn't unroll

When it's in use, this thing will not unroll all the way. it feels like it's been in a rolled up position a long time and doesn't want to unfurl despite being rolled out flat with weights on it. the velcro straps are just barely enough to overlap (at most one inch), so it's difficult to roll up when you want to leave the gym. It is long and that would be a nice feature if it would lay flat while in use.
