cute

These were cute. The hose is fairly opaque (or was for me) until it got to my thighs, which is how I prefer my hosiery. I'd say they were a little more opaque on me than in the photo. (I'm 5'10", fairly long legs, skinny shins/calves, full thighs.) The lace at the top (and the lace-up detail) were a nice touch. However, the lace-up detail really isn't all that noticeable on me. I think unless you had dramatically wider thighs, you're not really going to see skin through the laces, so it mostly just looks like there's a small ribbon bow. The lace-up detail makes use with garters somewhat awkward. However, I think it'd be possible for me to wear these without garters and for them to mostly stay in place. Under clothes or walking long distances, they probably wouldn't stay up for very long, but they do okay just walking short distances around the house. Note: On the manufacturer's website, the model has the lacing detail in the back (in a somewhat higher-quality photo). You can wear them with the lace up detail on the front or the back of your leg.

Great Product

I waited until I had worn these several times and had the opportunity to wash them. They still fit great and have not lost anything through multiple uses. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a good pair of stockings that will stay up with or without a garter belt. (I did love using them with a garter belt, however. I believe the overall look was better.)

A bit short

If you are, or are buying these for a some one with larger-than-average legs, they might not go very high.

Not as nice as I hoped

The quality on these was not up to my standards... the stocking itself was not a very fine or consistent weave and there was no sheen at all so they had a tendency to "grab" my skirts/dresses making them ride up. The lace top was not attached or woven to the end of the stocking rather attached about 1 1/2" from the top so that extra inch and half had a tendency to roll. There was no silicone on the back of the lace like I am used to, so walking across a large parking lot at a brisk pace isn't an option with these. They will do, if there are no other options, but for regular use I will keep searching for better quality.

they won't stay up

I was so excited for these as they are super cute, right? Problem is there is zero elastic on the top. The minute you start to walk they fall down. Bummer. At least the refund was quick and easy to get.

way too small!! do not buy if you are over 4'11 they don't stretch much to accommodate any one with any height.

Guter Kauf!

Bin begeistert, Wunderschöne Strümpfe und das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis ist toll. Nur Vorsicht, Halterung ohne Silikon, deswegen kann der Strumpf eventuell abrutschen!
