Very functional and comfortable

Size & fit were dead-on. I ordered a 34 and they fit like a glove. The material is slightly stretchy, so you will want them to be snugg (because I hate it when your pants slide down your butt). The pockets are ample, but not baggy, so don't expect to put anything larger than a golfball-sized item in them. But for phones, pencils, papers, wallets, etc they are perfect. To my surprise, there is a secondary opening at the top of the flapped pocket that is perfect for carrying a pair of glasses. I have to carry a pair everywhere I go, so these shorts are wicked good. I bought the desert camo version, and I really like them. I think they are a good value for the $.

Nice shorts but one thing…

The shorts fit well, look good, are comfortable, seem well made. I have one complaint and I hope the manufacturer reads this and reconsiders future designs: Inside the waistband on the back in big bright green letters it says EXTREME MOTION. … I can’t figure out who you’re trying to appeal to with branding that looks like it came off the side of a tow behind RV or a can of Monster energy drink, but one thing I can confidently say is that if there’s EXTREME MOTION happening with anything related to my ass, that’s not a good thing. Please just let good shorts be good shorts.

Most comfortable short I've ever wore.

I buy multiple pairs whenever I find them. Most comfortable shorts I've ever wore. My favorite by far. I'll wear them for years until they fall apart.

These fit very well. Great pockets especially the cell phone hidden pocket. Material is great and moves with you as described.

Fashionable and rugged

I've never written a review of a clothing item before, but these shorts served me so well that I believe they deserve a review. They look like traditional cotton cargo shorts, but are made of material that dries quickly and stays clean. I should know: I wore them for two weeks straight during a visit to the Amazon rainforest during the rainy season. Highly recommended.

Love the “hidden” smartphone pocket

I bought these shorts in advance of a trip to tbe sunny south and they are exactly what I hoped they would be. The fit was perfect (size 34), they appear durable, yet lightweight. Perfect for days of 30C/90F. As the title suggests, I love the “hidden” smartphone pocket on the right leg. You can just slide your phone right in there and it’s out of sight. Though if your protective cover/case is thick, it may not slide in there as easily as mine.

Super comfy

Awesome light weight shorts with lots of pockets including a semi-hidded front pocket that holds a cell phone. Large fit perfect (I am 200lbs). Waist is elasticized at the rear so no belt needed

These are mega comfortable

These are so good I had to buy another pair. I don't wear any of my other shorts now. Great for warm weather.

Excellent Lee product

Great colour and quality fabric. I only gave them 4 stars because it is hard to find the correct size. The expandable waistband IS expandable. I normally wear a 36 waist and I am sure these will go up to 39 or 40 inches. Once you get the size you want, these Lee shorts are fantastic.
